Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) Umm, perhaps someone should ask another question. As for my previous question I was thinking, Assassin's Creed, rachet and clank and Sly Cooper Landis963, on 03 Feb 2016 - 07:33 AM, said: HRW- London Heathrow LON - Gatwick JFK- JFK International NWK- Newark OHR- OHare International CDG - Charles de Gaulle (Paris) SIN - Singapore TYO - Tokyo LAX - Los Angeles IND - Indiana International Airport FLO - Orlando, Florida ATL - Atlanta VEN - Venice ROM - Rome HEL - Helsinki MCH - Munich SFO - San Francisco. little wilson she/her Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Umm, perhaps someone should ask another question. The way the game is played is that a question is asked, and if no one can answer it after a given amount of time (I usually wait somewhere between 3 days to a week), the asker answers it and asks a new question. If someone does answer it, they then make sure they answered correctly and if they didn't, they post a funny picture/gif. Landis can do that, if he doesn't want to answer it or if no one else wants to answer it. But since you want an answer, here: LHR - London Heathrow LGW - London Gatwick VCE - Venice VIE - Vienna EDR - Newark MUC - Munich ORL - Orlando GVA - Geneva ZRH - Zurich AUS - Austin, Texas EDI - Edinburgh TXL - Berlin/Tegel FCO - Rome ARN - Stockholm/Arlanda ORY - Paris/Orly MEL - Melbourne CHC - Christchurch DUB - Dublin MCI - Kansas City SNN - Shannon, Ireland For a new question, WLIU name 20 characters who have been in Agents of SHIELD (not actors).
Curiosity he/him Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Skye/Daisy Johnson Phil Coulson Grant Ward Melinda May Leo Fitz Jemma Simmons Victoria Hand Jasper Sitwell John Garret Bobbi Morse Hunter (Uh... Can't remember his last name.) Agent Weaver (SHIELD Academy Director) Daniel Whitehall Gideon Malick Calvin Johnson (Mr. Hyde) Deathlok/Mike Petersen Reyna (The Girl in the Flowered Dress) Lincoln Nick Fury The Lady Sif Without looking them up, name the four humors and their corresponding Platonic elements.
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 are the Howling commandos agents? In that case my first answer would have been Dum dum Dugan
Plaeggs he/him Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 As for my previous question I was thinking, Assassin's Creed, rachet and clank and Sly Cooper Sly Cooper is going to have a movie? This is awesome! That's 1 game I do know. I can't wait. I had so much fun with that game.
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Same here, my fave would have to be Band of Thieves
Curiosity he/him Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Ok, then. Earth - Black bile (melancholy) Water - Phlegm Air - Blood (sanguine) Fire - Yellow bile (choleric) Without looking it up, name eight sitcoms no longer on the air.
little wilson she/her Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Cheers Seinfeld Family Matters Growing Pains Full House Boy Meets World The Brady Bunch Saved by the Bell ....I could go on. WLIU, name 20 actors who have filmed at least one scene with Sean Astin.
Young Bard he/him Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) So (just naming LoTR actors here)... 1. Ian McKellan (Gandalf) 2. Elijah Wood (Frodo) 3. Hugo Weaving (Elrond) 4. Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) 5. Cate Blanchett (Galadriel) 6. Andy Serkis (My preciousss...) 7. Orlando Bloom (Legolas) 8, 9, 10, 11, 12: Whoever played Boromir, Faramir, Gimli, Pippin and Merry... Hold on a sec... 20? Anyway, that's a start. Edited February 14, 2016 by The Young Bard

Hold on a sec... 20? Anyway, that's a start. That's Sean Bean, dunno, John Rhys-Davies, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan. Add to that Samuel L. Jackson (football field groundskeeper mentor in Rudy), Adam Sandler (romantic rival with a literally universal remote in Click), aaaand that's what I've got. So we're up to 14 (13?) without looking it up. 1
Young Bard he/him Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) The problem is, Sam and Frodo don't really meet anyone after Amon Hen (the Breaking of the Fellowship). And they don't really meet all that many people before, either. You can take minor characters (Barliman Butterbur, for instance) but no-one will know who played them. Edited February 14, 2016 by The Young Bard
Landis963 he/him Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Didn't Ben Affleck play his childhood friend in Rudy? Or was that Paul Rudd? The one who dies in a mining accident a third of the way through to jar Rudy out of his rut.
Delightful Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Spoiler alert! JK I haven't even heard of Rudy.
little wilson she/her Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 If it helps, he was in The Goonies, Forever Strong, and 50 First Dates. He also had a role in 24 for part of a season.
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 And he will be in Batman vs Supes
little wilson she/her Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 And he will be in Batman vs Supes He is? I didn't think he was, and IMDb isn't showing him as part of the cast....
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 He is? I didn't think he was, and IMDb isn't showing him as part of the cast.... *cough* Ben IS BATMAN muderfooker *cough You didn't hear anything. If IMDB didn't say anything then it must be confidential Obviously
Blaze1616 he/him Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) *cough* Ben IS BATMAN muderfooker *cough You didn't hear anything. If IMDB didn't say anything then it must be confidential Obviously What are you talking about? Little wilson is talking about Sean Bean Astin, not Ben Affleck. I can see how you got confused due to Landis's post, but that's no reason to mock wilson with your sarcasm, particularly when it was your mistake that led to the misunderstanding. Edit: Wrote the wrong Sean, whoops... Edited February 17, 2016 by Blaze1616 2
little wilson she/her Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Sean Astin, actually, but thank you, Blaze. Much appreciated. 1
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 OOOOOOOHHHH I see now pardon previous post just a little misunderstanding..
little wilson she/her Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Okay, so you guys collectively had 13-14? Let's say 13 just in case. So here's 7 more. David Wenham - Lord of the Rings (Faramir) Keifer Sutherland - 24 Josh Brolin - The Goonies Joe Pantoliano - The Goonies Drew Barrymore - 50 First Dates Martha Plimpton - The Goonies Sean Faris - Forever Strong Um. Name 10 movies Ben Affleck has starred in that are already out as of February 2016.
