Vizier he/him Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 (edited) So, um, upon walking into my local Water stones, I an surprised by hardback copies of Firefight lying on the shelves. I've checked, and all the release dates say January, so is this just a mistake, or has it genuinely been released early? ...not that I'm not happy, having it right in front of me and all. Just thought it was weird. Edited December 30, 2014 by Vizier 2
WeiryWriter he/him Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Yeah, it's a mistake. There's been quite a few instances of it happening with Firefight though, which is unfortunate.
PeterAhlstrom he/him Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 It happens. If you get one, lucky you. 4
ChocolateRob he/him Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Yeah I was pretty surprised to find Words of Radiance a week early in Waterstones, As I had the hardback on order though I just used it to read the chapter missing from the previews before putting it back.
GreyPilgrim he/him Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Well, I'm not in Britain, but I got my Amazon pre-order in the mail today, a day early!
gjustice99 she/her Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) I'm not in Britain and I got a copy from a bookstore yesterday. It was, possibly the 2nd best part of my entire break. Edited January 6, 2015 by gjustice99
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I'm in the US and I saw copies in the bookstore today.
Fifth of Daybreak he/him Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I'm at work on a twenty four hour shift, meanwhile my Weller Book Work's copy arrived at home a day early.
FaeMofo Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Yeah I've had my copy since before the new year, I may have squealed in the bookshop but it was worth it to finally get my hands on it 1
