Lady_Yasha she/her
I figured this deserved a topic of its own. Why? Because it's awesome. Other than that it has a great magic system, very interesting characters and some beautiful artwork. http://www.casualvillain.com/Unsounded/ Synopsis: Duane, a galit (undead creatures that were once human), has been forced to accompany an arrogantly boisterous young girl in escorting her across dangerous lands filled with powerful mages, child-slavers who do reprehensible things, vigilant lawmen, and plenty of wonders to behold. Along the way to their goal they take detours that delve further into the lore of the world, its nations and various types of people that inhabit them. What grabbed me is how detailed the magic is, how technology is built around it, and the characters. Sette appears detestable at first but she grows on you as much as you realise Duane also has a secret side to him. There's only six chapters at the moment and I'm eagerly awaiting each new chapter. Riddlesinthedark he/him
Really liked it, already archive splurged. Thanks for the link. What are the exact systems of magic? I get that you need "first X" for enchantments, but couldn't quite figure out how the dueling worked, other than the zombie's silent casting.
Lady_Yasha she/her
Pymary steals attributes from nearby sources and is channelled through the sorcerer to affect the world in various ways. Like the pressure of a waterfall can be taken from away from the water and applied into a massive shockwave. Heat can be taken from a fire to warm something else, or to create fire. This'll explain it a lot better, and the world it's built upon too.
