TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Timeport says happy new year Yes. Yes he did use a piece of paper to cut off Ricardo's arms "Did I top it, empath?" Yes. Yes, you did. You can stop now. Seriously, Timeport, I think it'd be best for your career if you quit while you were ahead and took a job where you're not allowed to touch a firearm. 2
mail-mi he/him Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Yes. Yes, you did. You can stop now. Seriously, Timeport, I think it'd be best for your career if you quit while you were ahead and took a job where you're not allowed to touch a firearm.Sadly, Timeport would not agree to that--especially the no firearms part.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Sadly, Timeport would not agree to that--especially the no firearms part. And even more sadly, Quota would see that as a waste of potential. You're going to dredge up some bad memories, Quota. Funtimes won't enjoy reliving them. And you won't like Funtimes when she's not having a fun time. Not. One. Bit. 2
Voidus Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Because Dr. Funtimes without a Fun time is just Dr. S.A supervillain if ever I heard one. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Because Dr. Funtimes without a Fun time is just Dr. S. A supervillain if ever I heard one. "What does the S stand for?" "Alligators." "But...but that doesn't start with an S." "No, but you won't care when you're surrounded by alligators." 3
Kobold King he/him Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Timeport teleported so his hand was inside Mister Meh's rib cage. He felt around until he found the beating heart, and wrapped his fingers around it. He ripped it out of Mister Meh's chest, and squeezed it in his blood-covered hand. He barely paid attention to the body hitting the ground as he turned around to proudly show Quota the heart. He teleported right next to Quota and held the heart up to his face. "Did I top it, empath?" And behold, from beyond the pearly gates of Heaven, Mr. Meh stared down upon his murderer and proclaimed... "Meh. I've seen better." 2
Mailliw73 he/him Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 A very good decision. Did you start with the first season of the new series, with 9 (Eccleston) and Rose (piper)? Yes, I did. That was what Netflix had. Don't worry, that's the exact reaction I had, at first. It starts getting good around episode 6. The effects do get better at a slow and steady rate. By series 3 you don't really notice how bad they are anymore. By series 6, they're top notch. But yeah, the Slitheen look pretty terrible. Sounds good. I'm excited for that. It does explain all the Doctor and Master stuff in this series right? Like I don't have to go back to the first doctor to understand?

It does explain all the Doctor and Master stuff in this series right? Like I don't have to go back to the first doctor to understand? Yes. Everything they introduce is explained, usually within that episode. The only one I can think of where they don't explain just what's going on is "Midnight," but in that one, the Doctor not learning what's going on is kind of the point. (It's also an awesome episode and I'm super excited for you to watch it. ) Which one are you on now? 2

It'll probably take me a while to catch up. For reference, I started the show Arrow on Halloween and only caught up last week.
Edgedancer he/him Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) "Give my my glasses back, you glittery thief! Uh... I mean... heh, what's your name?" "I told you already, didn´t I? I´m the godess of glasses." The new fugitive post had some rather amusing moments, I also like how they avoid using the word Calamity. I also couldn´t help myself reading the first paragraph with "Chala Head Chala" music from the dragonball recaps stuck in my head. However, for the sake of consistency with Planshift´s tissue being not indestructable, may I point out that after his stunt with the van he should have at best some major bruises along his hack and chest and at worst skin so badly ripped that he´s going to bleed to death without proper medical treatment. Voidus Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Sounds awesomly meh. Out of curiosity, did you read any of the MMOIPWAR entries in the creator´s corner? Can't say I have, what's MMOIPWAR?
Edgedancer he/him Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Can't say I have, what's MMOIPWAR? It got started by Quiver over in the creator´s Corner. MMOIPWAR is a random abbreviation for monthly meeting of insane people writting about randomness that I came up with. Baisically there´s a writing prompt for each month and everyone is free to make a submission. We only started last month but a couple of us here in Oregon, namely I myself (To be fair I didn´t quite finish my piece because I grabbed to high for scale ), Twi and Senoid submitted something and Kobold gave the prompt for this month. 2

Thanks! I'm glad people got the 'sparkamity' thing! If he had tried to stop a moving van that way, he would definitely be dead. But the weight is spread across his whole back and the back of his legs, and he would have been careful not to be under any particularly sharp parts. He is going to be very bruised up. Like, he is constantly covered in scrapes and bruises. He is constantly sore, but he is used to it and doesn't comment on it anymore.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 So, mail-mi, what's next for Quota and Timeport? I was thinking maybe Quota could show off how far he can go….though it'll be hard for him to top killing someone with a piece of paper, he'll certainly try. Or maybe we could make up two completely random characters who spend the rest of the night eating ice cream. You know. For a change of pace. 2

Like, he is constantly covered in scrapes and bruises. He is constantly sore, but he is used to it and doesn't comment on it anymore. Yeah, it threw me of I first but then I got it. His indestructable skeleton actually plays against him here. He can´t use his entire surface to catch the weight, only the parts that is pressed against his bones, so spine, rib cage and not his legs, unless he can dilate them out of proportion, because then the strenght would need to come from his musles. Even then we are talking about a military van, that´s what, 1.5 tons, probably more. No way he can speak or move properly after that, no mater how though he may be. Plus, the idea of finding a even surface under a car that wasn´t modified large enough to fit a man´s torso is rather unlikely So, mail-mi, what's next for Quota and Timeport? I heard those two are pretty awesome.

Sweetfrost polished off her tub of Ben and Jerry's and said to the Icecreaminator, "I think we should try gelato next." Yes, much better. Your move, mail-mi. This time, in The Dalles, Autumn ponders the proper protocol for flirting with an Epic who could turn her into a sparkling explosion. 1

Edgedancer he/him Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 This time, in The Dalles, Autumn ponders the proper protocol for flirting with an Epic who could turn her into a sparkling explosion. With the posts we have been writting back and forth one has to wonder if the other characters are just staring in disbelief at the two of them flirting in public like that, to embarrassed to say something. It´s fun to write though. Let´s see would Shiny Sparkle pretend that with Autumn giving orders and a name like Glass she thought that she´s an Epic, to give her a scare or just keep flirting.

Hey, when an Epic flirts with you, you flirt back. And if you happen to be watching, you don't interrupt. Unless you're an Epic too. Either way, Autumn will panic a bit inside. Also: "But fro yo is gross," Sweetfrost complained. "Gelato is just as low in fat and it doesn't taste like sugar-covered feet." 2
