Regalia did not have a PI, but was powerful enough to be considered a High Epic. Firefight has a PI, but isn't considered a High Epic. And BlackWave's crew is called the Pirates or the Tidebreakers. Still doesn´t change that the definitons are identical to each other but only a couple of High Epics are supposes to have PIs. People that aren´t lorists often call powerful Epics like Regalia High Epics regardless but that doesn´t mean they are right. Not really David and Tia both agreed that she wasn´t a high Epic by definition, naturally that didn´t stop David to call her an High Epic at least once afterwards, so yay for consistency. Firefight has been refered to as an High Epic, thanks to her resurrection. (She herself mentioning how resurrection is a very unpleasant way to be elavated into High Epic status.) 1

If his disentegration has a size limit how would it interact with with larger objects like house walls also how strong are the winds he can summon? It would probably be better if you finish that Connell fight sidestory until then. Cool! So his Big ThingTM could happen during the Connell attack, sound good? With a house wall, he could disintegrate a section that was his size. The winds are powerful enough to hold him up or to break trees. They wouldn't be able to ruin buildings though, not directly. Yeah, we'll get working on that. I think I'm waiting for Mailliw to post for Altermind and Flashpoint. What are the consequences? Because Nighthound killing Wes is nothing; Lightwards would just resurrect him again once he comes back to the MoNA. A brief scuffle with Nighthound and Red on one side and Wes and Ray on the other would be awesome and free of negative consequences. Not anymore. It's not great, but it's there. (I'm not too sure how drunkeness works, being both underage and Mormon. ) 1

Basically, there are two different types of drunks: drunk people who just love everyone, and drunk people who hate everything with a pulse. My grandpa falls into the latter category; when he gets drunk, he'll launch into slurred rants against affairs in the Middle East, state regulations, Republicans, and so on. He'll get louder and louder, until he's almost shouting into the phone about how HE'S not a BUSH MAN, because the REPUBLICANS made A LOT OF MISTAKES in the last election, and LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT…. Ahem. Basically, when Lightwards gets tipsy, he'll probably feel a slight loss of control, as though he can't get his balance completely right. He won't be slurring his speech or anything at that point, but his head should be buzzing a bit. Bright light could bother him, but it might not; mostly, he'll probably feel increasingly irritable toward Funtimes and more than a little triumphant toward Sam. He might snap at someone to keep their voice down; he might just glare across the table. 2

Have him think mean thoughts at Funtimes and Sam. Have him snap at Funtimes at least once. Have his toy soldiers and Pamela sway a little bit as they walk, to indicate their master's mental state. Have him rant about Republicans. 2

As Twi said, although I'd add the third kind of drunk, usually young men in their late teens. The 'I'm invincibile!' kind of drunk who just tries to impress everyone around them, invariably failing because they're drunk and then getting angry when people laugh at them. 3

Fatebreaker he/him Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Question for you all: How would Quota's powers affect your characters, bearing in mind Quota would be guessing the memories he was dredging up from that victim's emotions, taunting them all the while? And this goes together with another question: is there any character you want Quota to meet before he dies? Fade and Sandman would both react VERY badly. Sandman might either try to escape or put Quota in one of his Dreams. Fade with end him with extreme prejudice. He'd probably Fade a part Quota's windpipe and watch him suffocate, while breaking his fingers and toes. The Mad Ballooner would probably bawl like a baby as he remembered that time his model hot air balloon fell off of his dresser and got a scratch. 3
