Probably, but not very frequently. None of my friends really live close and in walking distance. I need to get my driver's license.

Public transport?

Public transportation is a joke throughout most of the United States.  And not a particularly funny joke.

Too expensive. And none in my area.

And the youtube app is broken. Why do I even try

I just learned that there was an extinct species of rodent called the Hispanolian Edible Rat.

This name disturbs me.

It is a dismal world we live in when our Edible Rats are extinct.

Leaving us with the crummy inedible ones. Thanks a lot, people of the past. <_<

For a while we (in Spain) had "edible rats" again. When "V" (TV Series 1983-1985) aired in Spain we had this gummy rats (mostly to avoid kids from trying to eat REAL rats)

Man, I tried watching that show, and I just couldn't get into it. The concept - much like Battlestar Galactia- is amazing, but I don't think anyone has managed to pull it off quite right yet,

You know what I don't get?

All the fan art of Starlight Glimmer that looks like this.

Humanized versions of a pony character? I've got no problem with that. But even without going into the blatant sexualization of a character, and that I got the impression Starlight's much older than the Mane 6, the scant Japanese schoolgirl clothing artists keep putting her in really don't fit her character.

If I were put in charge of designing a human Starlight, she'd dress something like this--

--but with a pinker dress and with equality symbols on her garb. I think a more mature, crisply civilized look suits her better than a miniskirt and a tiny top.

Re: First picture:

Not only that, but where are her knees? Why does Starlight Glimmer have noodle legs? :o

That aside, I completely agree. If she were human, I think she'd be pretty, but in a more "she aged gracefully" sort of a way.

The Equestria Girls style is... not very good at conveying human body shapes. (With that said, I do compliment the artist. It's a very well-drawn piece of work; I simply disagree with its central concept.)

Exactly. I get the impression that Starlight Glimmer isn't a young radical; my personal theory is it's taken a few decades of experience to bring her to the ideologies she holds now. I'd place her in her mid-forties, late-thirties at most, in terms of human aging.

It's better than anything I could do, for sure, but the style is still odd.

I figured she'd need at least a decade of experience to master what appears to be a spell she invented herself. So unless she started when she was seven or eight, she'd have to be older than Twilight.

As an experiment I tried to make my own humanized Starlight in Microsoft Paint... it didn't work. :P

That is probably true, but since Rarity has a unique diamond-finding spell she discovered as a filly, it's not inconceivable that Starlight's special talent is magically manipulating cutie marks.

My guess is her talent is "erasing" things- wherher thats curie marks or vaporising bridges. After all, she said she needed magic to remove the cutie marks.

Probably way off, though.

BEEE MAH FREND TWILIGHT :P

It still seems like an odd talent to receive. All of the other talents we've seen involve some good or service provided to other ponies--Rarity incorporates jewels into her dresses, Fluttershy talks to animals, Twilight is exceptionally good at magic, etc. The power to mess with cutie marks would make Starlight Glimmer a demigod at least, and not a very kind one. Her spell struck me more as something she invented herself, with her special talent being an aptitude for magic.

That's beautiful, upvote earned.

I've never understood the whole "sexualizing pony thing" in all honesty. Its animated.. horses. I don't see how anyone could draw dirty images from it, and I sure as heck don't get why they post it online where children can find them. I mean, if you're gonna do it then don't leave it and trash the google images page and lets some little girl/boy scrolling through pics of their favorite character find the images. Its just.. gross to me.

On that lovely note, I'm browsing through the Warriors forums groaning at the off topic discussions page.

A bit.

They changed layouts about a year ago and I hate it soo much.

And

Who knows really its so spread out

Ugh. There's nothing wrong with short RP posts per se, and when I was younger, shorter posts were the norm. And there's nothing wrong with feeling self conscious of that fact, but a healthier way to handle it is to work at becoming a stronger writer, not post passive aggressive topics on the forum.

I posted there (windrunner) but like.. oh man. Oh man. I just. I'm not going to try any longer.
