LIFESAVERS

oh mann i need to draw but can't hold my hand straight

I'm gonna go drink lotsa water now though I need to actually sleep tonight

Drink...drink some water before you try that. Coffee dehydrates you, and I can't imagine running around a big empty field would help matters.

Huh. Really? I knew coffee caused dehydration, but somehow I never made the link between drinking coffee and doing hard labor being a bad idea.

Sometimes I think it's a miracle I survived my childhood. :mellow::P

the effects should wear off after a few hours, but I'd still recommend that chamomile tea. Itll both take care of those jitters and hydrate you. Win-win!

One cup probably wouldn't hurt anything, but the dehydration effect is the main reason I drink tea now. Like a hipster. :P

Note to self and the community at large.

If a woman shows you her new red shoes, the correct response is not "Nice! Squish any wicked witches lately?"

Just thought I'd share my hard-earned wisdom with you folks.

I'd say that's a Know Your Audience sort of thing.  I would've found that to be an awesome response.

Guys help my english teacher gave us all coffee and I've never had more than a few sips at a time because it tastes gross to me but this was mOCA and I drank the whole thing and now I'm so jittery like my hands are shaking so badly and all is swimming is this normal I have never had this much caffeine in my system ever and this is so weird help

I'm so sorry - I can't stop laughing at this.  I know it's not funny for you right now, but as someone who's been there, it's hilarious. I know, I know.  I'm a terrible person and I should feel bad.

(I don't)

I've never liked the taste of tea. I don't know. Never really stuck with me. I don't drink coffee too much. Normally just a few sips then I give up. But I'll take coffee that's had more cream and sugar in it than should be legal and drink that.

@kaymyth

You wanna GO because I have all this ENERGY i will take you DOWN fight mE

I'm actually laughing at it too

My audience was my mother. I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm funny but just doesn't like to admit it.

I made a similar mistake, telling someone that at least they are tanner than an albino is never a good idea. Especially if that person happens to be your girlfriend.

You should have gone with the old classic. "Wow! You're so pale for a minute I thought you were a snowman, lol!"

:o Good thing I did not say that at least.

SOMETHING IS WRONG ON THE INTERNET!

So I was online shopping geek shirts, as you do, and discovered this atrocity.

Makes me so angry.

Edit: also, Black Widow is missing from the 'girls' shirt. Go team.

I have an account here, ya know.

If you compare me to a snowman, it will not go well for you.

Kobold's mom does have an account on here!

For a while, I wondered if that was just an urban legend. Like the Loch Ness Monster or North Dakota. :P

I'm not trying to defend them, but I actually don't think it's ridiculous that Black Widow isn't on there. Black Widow hasn't been one of Marvel's main superheroes for very long, and even joined the Avengers about 10 years after all of the people shown on the shirt. So at the time the drawing on that shirt was made, Black Widow wasn't as popular.

I do agree that the slogans are quite ridiculous though.

Maybe, but they're being sold today.

In isolation, fine, but I've also heard of Age of Ultron toys where Black Widow on the motorbike has been replaced by either Cap or Iron Man (who has a suit and can't possibly need a bike!). She's just as awesome as the rest of them and should be equally merchandised.

I definitely agree.

I do think it's getting slightly better as more people complain, but the amount of merchandise surrounding female superheroes is still sorely lacking.

I am a massive superhero fan and a male, but I too find it absolutely ridiculous how rare and terrible female superhero merchandise is.

Honestly though, I think DC is doing slightly better at this than Marvel. That may just be me being bias as a DC fan, but I don't think so.

-bangs fists on table-

MORE BLACK WIDOW

In any case, I have recovered mostly and have decided that doing art on a caffiene rush is a BAD IDEA.
