Quiver he/him Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 I'm working on something at the moment, which doesn't quite fit with this theme unfortunately. On the plus side,I should finish it this week, so I might find time to work on this one. Kind of have a story in mind that suits this theme... It involves unicorns. And knights.
Quiver he/him Posted March 28, 2015 Author Posted March 28, 2015 Bump! I'm posting the submission thread now, sicne I won't be here during the week to do it. In the same veing, I'm just double-checking with this months prompter to make sure they're able to do it, and I'll post/update when I hear back from them. As for this month... I didn't write anything for the prompt, specifically; but this month, I did end up writing 14K words of fanfiction. I'm considering posting one of said fan fictions since, while it's not quite finished, the story is about the effect that a female athlete has had on the world coming back to affect her. I have another chpater to write, but I think chapter one ends in a place that's sort of complete on it's own... Possible downside: it's pony-related. So.. you know.
Delightful Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Ok so firstly I'm highly honoured and flattered that Quiv asked me to supply this months writing prompt. Therefore I've been thinking long and hard about what to make this months prompt. I hope you like it: Write a story in which seven arthritic monkeys travel through a galaxy-wide ant colony in order to retrieve the Muffin of Eternal Glory. Bonus points if it includes heresy, defibrillation, a mad aardvark, a fictional disease, and seventeen gallons of flat soda. ....... ...... ........... April fools! Write a piece involving a sudden change in information and/or perspective, by the character, reader or both. Bonus points if the character comes to one realisation while the reader thinks something else entirely. (I'm not sure I could pull that off but it sounds cool). Honestly you can choose either prompt or part thereof. Main thing is, have fun! 2
