Is Wayne a yoki-hijo?

I think I've read that Yumi's story takes place well ahead in the timeline, but it still felt like something worth noting that Wayne is shown to have a tendency to make stacks of balancing things.

Is there any comment about it?

Stacking things is nothing special, it's just a skill anyone can learn. Being a Yoki-Hijo is way more than that, it's about being selected by the spirits of Komashi as one of the 16 chosen ones, which makes them invested and grants them strong Connections to the spirits, allowing them to communicate with them. Plus, you need to be a woman, the word Yoki means a girl. Wayne doesn’t fit any of this, he’s just Wayne.

doubtful because they are not on the same planet and generally shards can only really empower one system of planets at a time

I meant the question to sound silly, I understand all you say. I just found it interesting that he's mentioned to do that at least twice very specifically.

Also maybe worth noting: Wayne cheats at his stacks, which Yumi never would.
