does people feel as though

that even though you're out to people and they respect you or try as best they can or whatever, you feel like they still treat you like... who they used to or the gender you're not?

I got called "buddy" and "man" and "dude" which can be gender-neutral but still i didn't/don't like it that much, especially "buddy" because... it's masculine imo. And "man" is just a reminder.

and then like other stuff too...

I don’t know what it feels like, but many of my friends are non-binary, and they get a bit angry when they are dead named, or someone misgenders them.

like..

im kinda on the taller side and people comment on my height sometimes and i dont like it cuz yeah there are tall girls/women but ive always associated it with male

yes, but gentle reminders are enough to help them realize that they need to stop "holding back" to be honest. Sometimes confrontation is needed, but I prefer to do that in a way where the individual doesn't feel resentment and I don't feel at a disadvantage.
