DoctaDajman Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Simple question, though I may regret asking it, can Tension and Cohesion be used together to turn a persons body into a rubbery consistency? Or is this more an old magic type of thing?
+Kelkamer Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I think the issue would be that living things resists Investiture. Maybe could work if you spiked a Focused One fused with a spike from a Deepest one? I think the closest to Mr. Fantastic abilities would be either a rose or green aether bound using the roseite/vines as an extension of their body
Frustration Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I'd honestly go with a Kandra with a truebody with telescoped bones.
Trusk'our he/him Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Spren. Their bodies can shapeshift fairly easily and don't have to follow bone physics. They'd need to be highly Invested to interact physically, but that's achievable. Maybe a Substantiated Lightweaving or piece of Midnight Essence could do it too.
Nitpicking Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Sleepless can impersonate a Plastic Man type, to a limited extent.
PanLin they/he Posted February 14 Posted February 14 If you wanted to be a human that could do it, then probably you could, yeah. It would take some manipulation of your Identity and likely Connection to get the result you want to affect your physical form. Quote Krios (paraphrased) If you have a form of manipulating your Identity and a form of healing, are you able to shapeshift or even evolve your body like growing wings? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) You'd have to do some real work on your Spiritweb to make that work. It'd take more work than you're implying, but the [singers] for instance are doing this. It'll take a little more work, it's not just blanking your Identity. Hemalurgy would make it very easy, but also very evil. But what you want to achieve is possible. Stuttgart signing (May 17, 2019)
