Kobold King he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Can we get a page from the files of David Charleston for Colonel Kernel Kobold? Can Sightline also get a Profile? Eep. I haven't even finished the Altermind profile for Mailliw yet. These'll go on my list, though I'll need a pony for the Colonel first. 1

Kobold King he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I'm not in a hurry to get it, so it's okay. The main thing is finding a good quote with Altermind. I thought about just using "Imbeciles" as a sort of catch-all catchphrase, but worried that might be a bit too generic. 2
Voidus Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Mark-I pony for Colonel Kernel-the Happy Colonel version 3

He doesn't really have any good quotes that I can think of either. If you want to do another of my characters, Max or an Epic, if you can find a quote easier, go ahead and do that. I mainly just want something Cool to put in my sig. 1
Voidus Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I want one for my sig too but I can't really think of any quotes that would work with any of my characters.

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Also Scribbler pony: Awwww….why does she look so sad?
Voidus Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Awwww….why does she look so sad? I think anyone who turned into an Epic after meeting Koschei would be sad.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 I think anyone who turned into an Epic after meeting Koschei would be sad. Yes, this is true. (When, precisely, did she meet Koschei? Was it just an in-passing sort of thing, or was she one of the kids he did his wound-and-heal thing with?)

Well it was just an in passing thing but that would actually work with her character, if you don't mind me ret-conning it?

No, not at all. He did that to a lot of kids, so it would have been highly likely that it happened to her. Since her parents are still alive, it probably would've happened when he hit one of the schools early on in his conquest. It's up to you whether she was held hostage for an extended period of time (which he did with a few kids, mostly to use as human shields and/or blackmail) or if she were simply returned to her parents to gain their obedience. If it was the latter, her parents probably wielded some authority in town (though that's kind of a loose definition; if one of her parents was a cop or a teacher, Koschei would've seen that as enough justification for using her as a bargaining chip). 1

Her parents just ran a local store together so I think I'll go with the hostage.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Her parents just ran a local store together so I think I'll go with the hostage. Makes sense. Should I work her into/mention her in one of Koschei's flashbacks? Have I mentioned what a decent, totally not deranged and psychotic person Koschei the Deathless was lately? Hey, he had redeeming qualities. He wasn't racist, for one. He saw people of all ethnicities as equally deserving of having him as their god, and set about slitting their throats to prove it. …. Yeah, he was a terrible person.

She wouldn't have been particularly prominent but it could still be good, thanks! I'll work on her backstory some more to fit it in.

Voidus Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 It would be more of a cameo—"He strode past Lucy Lockser, who huddled weeping in a corner." Something like that. Sounds good. Portland's been getting a bit neglected lately, anyone posting there soon?
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 All I can do right now is have CorpseMaker discuss Evil plans with Mr. Harmon and the Soldiers.
Fatebreaker he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I'd post in Portland, but I kind of need the Attacks to start. Or I could have the Mad Ballooner set up the attack by creating the balloons and beginning the ascension to the MoNA I think he'd have a difficult time of that. Frequency's not an easy one to kill. Difficulty hasn't stopped him before. But I wouldn't kill him without your okay, so no worries.

Edgedancer he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Baxter's awesome! Also, I have a tomcat named Neko. Congratulation your cat is now a Oregon survivor and way more badchull than you. (Want to know the completly fictional truth about how she fought of Nighthound and became the fated companion of the Daypug?) Thanks for pointing that out. It's always good for someone to point out inconsistencies. 1. Panda grew under the cover of the night. Informant also made the guards forget the presence of the trees. (This was why I wanted to have the siege in the morning.) 2. Actually, the flying pigs were covering most of the city. 50 pigs in one spot would be a bit hard to notice. 3. The Pandas are heavily enhanced spec op Pandas. The guards put up a bit of a fight, but they still went down. 4. One of the Pandas caused a distraction while the others snuck up and broke the Guards' necks. Easy. I thought Reader was already in the Bunker by the time the abduction began... Looks like Informant is our plot-hole solution. Good that you aren´t taking it in a bad way. Some last detail you might wanna think about. 2) The pigs would take up more space than you might think to compensate for their wingspan, keep them from crashing into each other and to make sure their ropes don´t tangle. Furthermore, what people would notice isn´t so much the pigs themselves but more the lack of baskets/squirrel bombs on the pigs. 3)If they managed to put up even a minimum of fight they could have given of a distress signal, meaning reinforcment should be coming, blowing the Panda´s chance to not be noticed on their way out (which was rather nonexistent in the first place, to be honest). 4)How would you distract a person in a other room that has only one acces and awaits something approching the room? Everything the Pandas could do would just make the guards more careful. (Plus, even if this would work the difference between what is in the post and the amount of necessary explanation outside the post seems pretty borderline, to me at least.) That´s kind of what we are discussing right now. Could you at least say if the mental command to the pigs is somehow connected to Panda´s secondary power? Otherwise, I don´t see how he would be able to do that. The attack on the MoNA is a while off yet, I think we're just waiting for the meeting to begin mostly, not sure who needs to post next for that to happen. That would be Kobold/Lightwards.
mail-mi he/him Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I've got it! Terry and Eugine can be the two guards that were in Reader's room! I'll edit that in later.
