Seonid he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Well, I have a couple of posts I could make but I'm waiting for other folks to post first. You know, the double posting stigma and all that. If nobody's posted by Monday, I might add something more.
Voidus Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Ummm... Is the Dalles thread normally this inactive? Not usually, I think we're just waiting for someone to take the leap and do the next post, I think it's either Mail-mi, Kobold or Twi up next to wrap up the Backtrack/Reader/Autumn situation.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I could get something quick for Autumn written.
Voidus Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 And then just as Reader was finally alone and about to enjoy his wine an arrow flew through his window and broke his last goblet. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 He reached for the bottle, but an arrow shattered it, spilling the contents onto his desk. Glowering, Reader took a juicebox from a mini fridge beneath his desk, stabbed it with a straw, and drank. 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 He reached for the bottle, but an arrow shattered it, spilling the contents onto his desk. Glowering, Reader took a juicebox from a mini fridge beneath his desk, stabbed it with a straw, and drank. Then a flaming beam loosend itself from the roof and landed next to Reader, in his shock he dropped his juicebox and was left with only a ordinary bottle of water to drink... and his own tears about all the waste. 2
Kobold King he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Ummm... Is the Dalles thread normally this inactive? It flares in activity in sometimes, then drops into a slight lull, just like the parent thread. In this case, I think it's mainly going slowly 'cuz I'm holding it up. I'll get a Backtrack post written up soon, at the very least. He reached for the bottle, but an arrow shattered it, spilling the contents onto his desk. Glowering, Reader took a juicebox from a mini fridge beneath his desk, stabbed it with a straw, and drank. Yes Reader. Losing your wine is the most important consequence of a panda invasion. Voidus Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Yes Reader. Losing your wine is the most important consequence of a panda invasion. Later that night at the Springfield bar. Reader: Worst day ever, I lost all of my cups, then my secret stash got destroyed and then the only thing I could drink was water! Backtrack: I got shot in the arm! Oregonian: Why don't you both cry a river? It might help to, you know stop the fire that just burned down a hundred or so houses... 5

We have to deal with an self-fashioned Epic empire that murders people for fun and profit, housing the most vile monster that needs to die ever, and that isn´t even going into all the deaths of the turf war. 4

Pink Pinkness: People make fun of my name! *Bursts into tears* 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Pink Pinkness: People make fun of my name! *Bursts into tears* Ray: I need a storming drink and don´t any of you start whining at me! 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 And Sam begins singing "First World Problems" under her breath. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 And Sam begins singing "First World Problems" under her breath. Even at the Vanillas and Ray? 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Even at the Vanillas and Ray? The vanillas and Ray join in, eventually drowning out the sounds of complaining.Edit: All hail Lightsong, God of Heroes and Supreme Lord of Puns! Edited November 9, 2014 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles 3
mail-mi he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) He reached for the bottle, but an arrow shattered it, spilling the contents onto his desk. Glowering, Reader took a juicebox from a mini fridge beneath his desk, stabbed it with a straw, and drank. This would've totally happened if the pandas had attacked the area the church was in. EDIT: I'll write up a post when I get home. Kobold, would it be plausible that the soldiers would come in and get Reader and take him to a sort of "safety bunker," as he doesn't have any offensive or defensive powers to speak of to help against the invasion? Kobold King he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 And Sam begins singing "First World Problems" under her breath. Lightwards: There aren't any bathrooms in my flying fortress, so I couldn't take a SHOW-ER! I'm not allowed to hurt that goth girl, but she keeps shooting me a GLOW-ER! Then the baker wouldn't sell me pastries, 'cuz I killed her best friend. Then my tailor messed up my coat, I had to kill him all over again! Oh no, there's a zombie missing 'cuz someone told her to think. All the faction leaders laugh at me 'cuz Funtimes turned all my stuff pink. Neverthere just interrupted my dramatic march--doesn't she know how to text, OMG! I got First world, first world problems! (First world problems) First world, first world problems (First world problems...) 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 All hail Lightsong, God of Heroes and Supreme Lord of Puns! Praise the patron saint of squirrels! 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 So this would be a good time to have the Unicyclist sit and think about how much he wants to punch Nighthound, then? And if there's going to be an attack, will Lightwards bother to tell Funtimes? 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 So this would be a good time to have the Unicyclist sit and think about how much he wants to punch Nighthound, then? And if there's going to be an attack, will Lightwards bother to tell Funtimes? Technically, it´s always a good time for wanting to punch Nighthound in the face, so the answer is a definite yes. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Technically, it´s always a good time for wanting to punch Nighthound in the face, so the answer is a definite yes. I almost wrote a book called Ten Excellent Reasons to Punch Nighthound Directly in the Face, but then I realized it would expand to at least 1,000 reasons. 4

Maybe Brandon would write that book for us. Also, Stephen and Steve, so similar and yet so different. 2

Kobold King he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) Maybe Brandon would write that book for us. Also, Stephen and Steve, so similar and yet so different. Epic Plot Twist: Backtrack was once Stephen Vondra Jr. Vondra Sr: Wait--my son's an Epic? Backtrack: But dad, I thought we'd always be family? * sniffs * Vondra Sr: My son's a whiny Epic? Get out of my house! You are no Vondra! This is entirely non-canon. Edited November 9, 2014 by Kobold King 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Epic Plot Twist: Backtrack was once Stephen Vondra Jr. Vondra Sr: Wait--my son's an Epic? Backtrack: But dad, I thought we'd always be family? * sniffs * Vondra Sr: My son's a whiny Epic? Get out of my house! You are no Vondra! This is entirely non-canon. So Backtrack´s full name is Steve "Backtrack" Lawrence Vondra? You know, given how most mothers think about their children I wonder, if Steelheart killed his just to make sure. Calamity, I doubt Epics in general like their parents. Unless Calamity only chooses orphans. That´s fridge horror right there. 2
