Although how do you guys like the new Pokemon Horizons Series - I watched a few episodes and it is kinda terrible (my opinion). Maybe I'm just nostalgic of Ash and the first Pokemon Series. No one I know likes Pokemon as much as I do

least fave: Snorlax, because of the red&blue encounter where he uses rest for a solid 5 minutes (guys I'm not that old I just play old games)

 

Hot take: quaxly sucks. He's just a cuter form of ducklett. and there is WAY to many duck pokemon

Other hot take: Stunfisk is a cool Pokemon. (the first deck I made when I was little had him in it so... nostalgia)

I prefer the games, and mostly the VGC scene. The games just don't offer enough content for their cost (I've been spoiled by Hollow Knight).

Lots of YouTube channels have helpful beginner guides to complicated concepts. These build a nice groundwork, and you can always rewatch them for a refresher, or maybe you get better and find ways to adjust these concepts.

Then you practice. And practice some more. And a bit more.
