However, The Blank Page evaded all attacks. Healing from them all, he stands up and laughs.

Tharan jumped forward and laid his hands on a fire-free patch of wall. The spread of the fire stops, as does the crumbling of the weakened parts of the building, but he quickly begins to look strained, and mist starts to swirl around him.

Riaale places down her cane, then starts rubbing her hands together over her pendant. She stares up into the ashen sky and hums. A couple seconds later, a couple people stiltedly walk out of the building, like puppets on a string. They form a single file as they escape the flames.

"I'll tell you later. Right now, we need to save these people." Riaale dropped the pendant and jerkily lowered her hands, her fingers stiff and clawed, and with her arms gently slumped the people out of the building onto the floor. She sighed and looked at her hands. "I think that's everyone."

Fire fighters are screaming, and chaos is everywhere.

The Blank Page is suprised, but grabs it too, and yanks it away from you. It scurries back, but now the notebook is in it's hand.

When Sage is on the opposite side of it, Emma tries to grab onto the arm of The Blank Page not holding the notebook. If successful, she looks at Charlie, urging them on.

The Blank Page, distracted by the strange human dancing behind him, is surprised by Emma grabbing his arm, and says, "Hey!" but doesn't yet do anything, as he is mesmerized by the intrinsic dance occurring behind him.
