ChickenBonanza Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 (edited) Amidst the tumultuous event all over, a decree for blessed silence slips through. Wave reverberation stilled swift. Soul seeming dead and gone, or never having been and found. Greater Roshar is a spiritual deadzone. Unremarkable as most all of space. Undisturbed clear water. Undetectable to eye alone, even the far hawk’s. The corvid calls. Erased. Or shrouded. Spoiler More information about this phenomenon shall soon be made available in the doc. Through the Living Heir he/him Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 Invention was distracted by the interesting pattern the Laykium dust was making. The actions of the others were still noticed, of course, but there was nothing to be done, so Invention did nothing. Ripples had begun to move across the “leylines” of Laykium, the positions changing how the line moved, allowing disturbances to propagate. Quote I’m not necessarily saying you should go over and kill Layke or destroy Bit (because I do have plans for both), but if it makes sense I won’t try to fight it.
ChipsAHoid He/Him Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 A man of about 80 years of age popped out of the CR onto a planet he thought was called Scadrial. He had no idea which shards were on it, but he was fairly certain this would be a safe spot to set up. His name was Enjamin. Well, his real name was Benjamin but he always thought that name was too long so he shortened it. He wore patched robes of bright green and burnt orange. He had a hot pink top hat to go with it. He had not one, not two, but three monocles. One was for his one remaining eye, while the other two he wore tied into his long white hair. He wielded a staff of rotting wood, topped with the skull of an invertebrate. He happily sat down and decided he was set up, wherever the heck he had walked to in the past 30 seconds. Surely nobody would try to move him, he was just a harmless old oracle. His “shop” consisted of a tent he pitched wherever he ended up uncaring whether it was the middle of a city or a grassy field, as well as a stone stool. He began to gnaw on his favorite rock, Nairleosk. Whenever he chewed on the rock, Nairleosk could see into the future. Unfortunately, rocks lack vocal cords so Enjamin spoke for him instead. Or at least that’s what he told most people. In truth Enjamin was here for far more than chewing on Nairleosk, pleasant though it was. He was an informant. Unfortunately he was lacking in information as of the moment, but he was certain he would find customers soon. His type would attract attention from those higher in power. Besides, they never could resist another pawn in their plans, or at least a toy to play with. Perhaps his true loyalty could be won with sufficient incentive… Quote Anyways I’m playing a mortal now Any things Grace knew via pm Enjamin does not. His whole purpose is to add a layer of subterfuge and spying to this, I think it’s a cool aspect that doesn’t have nearly enough 3rd parties right now @KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren Quote Should conversations be via pm? That way the other shards can’t tell what’s happening? They should be able to speak without other shards hearing. Idk if mortals are able to speak in pm though. Uh I think @SpartanBrigade Quote If you are one of the ppl running scadrial like I think, figured I’d ping you to let you know there’s a complete weirdo on your planet now good luck lol

al_lan_mandragoran Posted October 13, 2025 Posted October 13, 2025 Quote SNAKES I, Honour, watched as our people began to learn and grow. A few pushes and prods along the way to help guide them, but no more. Our people would be strong. They would live peaceful lives, with 2 gods to protect them, but they would not be defenceless. Anyone who thought them weak would be mistaken. Especially now as they begin to discover the powers we gave them. No, no one would be invading our planet anytime soon... Out of nowhere, an old man pops into existence, and begins to chew on a rock. I turn my focus onto him, and immediately see him for what he is. A traitor and an informant. Gadris, I communicate. How shall we get rid of this nuisance? Quote And yes, I'm BACK @SpartanBrigade

How shall we get rid of this nuisance? @SpartanBrigade The man smiles charmingly as he feels the focus of a shard fall upon him. Then he hisses out a startling phrase “If Alph is not stopped, the Cosmere will burn First came the Maw, but soon you shall learn. The Shards must unite where others would turn Or he will get that after which he does yearn…” Enjamin had learned a little during his time in the Cognitive Realm traveling. Others may look at him in disgust, but he did have Cosmere’s best interests at heart. At least he was genuine in his desire to protect the Cosmere. He didn’t care about power or prestige. If the Cosmere was destroyed, he would be dead. Not fun. So would everybody else. And nobody wanted that. Surely they would see common sense… 1
