bmcclure7 Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 I think it’s created by charging Harmonium with copper and duralumin thoughts? 1
Argenti he/him Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 I'd presume so. Some mechanical, supercharged copper cloud. Maybe it's an awakened coppermind being fed with raw investiture? 2

I'm not convinced - Scadrian ships need a steel push boost to take off, and it's no coincidence that the one ship we've seen had an awakened steelmind. Edited July 14, 2025 by Argenti

That could be to just make it go faster I agree that given the name it sounds like F not A

Meh. I'd be surprised if they can't use allomantic metals, given you can store the ability to use Allomancy in a metalmind

But I would think if the metalmind is capable of using Allomancy it would use up the metalmind similar to compounding.

Are you sure about that cause I think I remember reading someone saying that it didn’t do that pacifically and that instead it only worked on free investure again like storm might or breath. Do we have any examples of actual abilities been stored outside of harmonium? It seems to me like if you store abilities, you wouldn’t need medallions

They grant all feruchemical and Allomantic powers. We haven't seen the actual force being stored outside of Harmonium- we haven't seen a iron pull stored in a metalmind, but that's not what I'm suggesting. I'm saying the awakened metalmind could just, use their metal. Nightblood can use the surges, as well as grant them, and they're roughly similar.

Doesn’t the bands of Morning have harmonium in them isn’t that how they’re able to store Allomancy?

It's said they are "oversized, spearhead shaped object made of all of the Allomantic metals." It's not stated directly, but given that Harmonium ignites in the air, and Atium and Lerasium are almost entirely gone, I'd assume it doesn't have the god metals. 1

I see thank you it’s been a while since I read that book. I think it might even been a decade. 1
