Through the Living Hopper He/Him Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Notice I don't even have planets yet but I'm already planning murder. Interesting side note, Valor and Virtuousity would make an interesting combination. Bravery to do radical art?

The star would probably explode anyways. And the aftermath won't be pretty. 4 minutes ago, ThatOneWorldhopper said: Notice I don't even have planets yet but I'm already planning murder. THE WAR PAINTING MAGIC SYSTEM WOULD ACTUALLY COME INTO FRUITION WOO

Does this count as "investing" in the entire cosmere. 1 hour ago, KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren said: Hmm... Honour can be changed. And that doesn't mean they can't work together with separate Vessels. They might converge on things, even when the reasons are different. Yes, but shards seem to naturally polarize over time when two shards with different vessels sit on the same world. Every example of di shardic systems we've seen has done that. Ruin and Preservation, no need to explain. Dominion and Devotion are said to be polarized, and it's like "making others serve you" vs "Serving others" Hell even Cultivation and Honor have this, with structure vs Growth, and them eventually having disagreements.

KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren He/Him Posted June 29, 2025 Author Posted June 29, 2025 5 minutes ago, Argenti said: Does Valor plan to try and stop the invested supernova? Could he? Well, he could try and put more external pressure on the star, keeping it together. However giant stars are unstable and that may backfire.

Not that he'd know that very well, and may act impulsively.

Then you'd have a way more powerful black hole but the immediate consequences are averted.

KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren He/Him Posted June 29, 2025 Author Posted June 29, 2025 @IcedOutPenguin Hot Jupiter-type, 0.03 AU Normal Dominant Gas Giant, 2.58 AU Asteroid belt, around 1.3 AU Neptune-type planet, 20.5 AU Kuiper Belt equivalent is 26.86 - 32.54 AU Terrestrial planets: 5.14 AU (Too cold) 0.06 AU (Would be too hot, but maybe habitable if it has high albedo or something) 0.66 AU (Too cold, but high greenhouse affect can fix that.) 0.1 AU (Would be too hot, but maybe habitable if it has high albedo or something) 81.94 AU (Most like has an eccentric orbit) So no good habitable planets. Best hope is the 0.66 AU one. However, one of your gas giant's tidal forces could make a moon potentially habitable. 11 minutes ago, Argenti said: Well. Would a decaying orbit work better, A slow decent of the two brown dwarfs into Iaira Prime?
