for less rigid orders like lightweavers, you swear a very personal ideal, like a personal truth about yourself. But for stricter orders, like Windrunners, you could still make an oath personal, especially as you go up in ideals, as long as it is similar to the idea of that ideal. For example, in Oathbringer Teft's third ideal is to protect people he hates, even if he hates himself most, whereas Kaladin swore to protect those he hates, meaning the lighteyes who he disliked/wronged him. They were personalized to each of them.
My third Ideal was to protect even those who hurt me so long as it is right.

To add to what KnightSkye said, some of us also hybridize orders and create our own combination of their Oaths (for example, I'm a Stonerunner, or Stoneward-Windrunner)
