I was leaving TUO, but this gives me doubts as well. If I die and flip village, then you say “oops, I know I voted the innocent for no reason except they didn’t have votes, but I actually thought it was TUO the entire time.”

I wasn't trying to vote you out, I just wanted to make sure that you could be voted out if you turned out to be evil. I definitely don't want you to die unless I have an almost absolute e!lean on you. We can't afford to waste villagers.

Edited to Add: Honestly, we should just see if anyone might change their vote, otherwise just end this cycle. We all know Striker's going to leave, we can't stop that, so I vote we just hear his death's aftermath.

But then I would be dead sooner. And where’s the fun in that? :(

We should play a game…smerf?

I have to go sleep for most of the rest of this cycle, but I'd be up for a real game of Chameleon next cycle. (Everyone gets a word, we go around saying tangentially related things while trying not to give it away)

An a final note, I did full calcs for every scenario.

The only possible Path to Victory for the elims is voting me. So, anyone who votes me, you're assumed elim.

Chameleon is fun, although it’s a bit hard to do with four people. I’d definitely be down to play it maybe outside of SE.

My understanding is I vote Spirit here?

In a Striker-is-last-Elim world, I think we're fine here since Striker cannot actually make this train particularly big enough to endanger Spirit.

In V!Spirit worlds where the last Elim is in <TUN, TOW>, this should bring Spirit roughly on par with TUN and hopefully three of us are able to bring down the last Elim next cycle.

I think Striker is the last elim. This isn't a very good use of the mercy shot, so Striker probably used it to save his skin. If there were two, he should have saved it, gotten executed, then the next one mercy shot themselves, thereby ending the game. Striker is experienced enough to not waste such a powerful ability.

Probably; I just don't want us to be blindsided if wrong. If he is, great, game over, no harm done. If he isn't, hopefully the planning has let us prepare a bit for the next Turn regardless!

This is completely unrelated to the game, but my wife (Biplet) just found a tiny little cat in the middle of the road on her drive to work. It's pouring rain and the tiny little thing is sopping wet and dirty. She's got it in her office at work right now, and I'm gonna come pick it up later today and figure out what to do with it. Wish me luck, y'all. Hopefully this doesn't lead to us having a third cat because we really can't afford that right now lmao

Bro, sometimes the cat distribution system comes to you.

Sometimes, you are the cat distribution system 😤

Encatten someone's life!

My hope is to take the little gal to an animal shelter. It just sucks because they don't open for another 3.5 hours. Even accounting for the 2 hours spent driving to my wife's school and back, I don't know what to do with the cat for an hour or so. I don't want to take it inside and risk giving fleas to our kitties.

Var considered his options.

There were 4 other suspects staring at him right now, all believing, despite his best tricks, that he was their enemy. Well, other than his accomplice. Option 1 was to try to get some duralumin and brass into himself, and put everyone into near catatonia. He could just walk out the door. Option 1 result was the Tower smushing him like Penguin and Teejay.

Option 2 was to get some steel, iron, pewter, and duralumin into him, and just fight his way out. Option 2 result was death by Dustbringers, almost certainly.

Option 3 was to continue talking. Convince them that Teejay and the Penguin had been operating alone. Abandon their plans and simply go back to quietly living in the Tower, until such a time as they could return to the plan in one fell swoop. Judging by the way Kalhavar was passing out steel chairs to everyone, while holding on to an Aluminum Noseball bat for himself, meant that Option 3 result was almost certainly death.

That left Option 4. He didn't like it, but it was a thin thread that lead into a future in which the plan could still work, and he could still profit from it in some way.

He turned to the Windrunners, and stuck out his hands to them. "I surrender."

The Windrunners stared at him. The Dustbringers stepped forward, bringing power to bear, but the Windrunners immediately blocked them, with their Captain looking around and giving quiet orders. He stepped up to Var and squinted at him. "What are you surrendering for?"

"Well, Captain Relador, I'm surrendering for accidentally tampering with the Tower's memories. It was an accident, discovered by myself and," he thought quickly, what name should he say to achieve the highest odds of victory? "Alvron, and then Teejay and Penguin blackmailed and threatened us into obeying them. With them dead, I no longer need to fear for my life, so I shall cooperate fully with the Tower, and the Knights Radiant. Please take me into custody."

"Hmmmm. Alright. Take him to the cells now. We'll let Dalinar interrogate him.

Quick Fix 75: The Tower's Pressure, Turn 8: Stricken

@StrikerEZ was Executed! StrikerEZ was an Enemy of the Tower!

All of IcedOutPenguin's votes were forgotten!

I will confirm, here and now in my capacity as the Game Master, that there is only 1 Eliminator left. If there had been 5 total, The game would have ended after turn 5, as that Massacre would have put them into their victory conditions.

TOW

Anyone voting me here would still be an admission of guilt, but even that won't save you now.

Why TOW?

You can check the PM. I'll post it here at this point because we have it locked.

If we both vote Spirit and they vote each other, they're tied and the elim has to soothe themselves or die.

🤨

Vote TOW, I got them mixed up. They're just numbers in my head at this point.

Taken from my convo with Kas, my vote Calc for a village win in either of the two current scenarios. All numbers are vote numbers in order me, TOW, Spirit, Kas.

Assume e!Spirit still, frames TOW with the Soothe.

2-1-3-1

They vote eachother (Spirit voting me here would reveal himself leading to an easy 2-1-5-1)

2-2-4-1

We double up on TOW because we think he's elim.

2-4-4-1

Spirit has to sooth self or die. TOW dies.

2-2-1

You and me both vote Spirit, Spirit votes me.

3-4-1

Spirit soothes, we both die, you're last one standing. (In this scenario, a Striker me vote would result in you v Spirit, but you'd win because it would be 3-2)

Back once again.

Assume TOW elim, assume he soothes himself for now.

2-1-3-1

They vote each other, exactly zero reason to do otherwise here, unlike the other one.

2-2-4-1

You and me double up on TOW for the tie.

2-4-4-1

One vote can be removed.

2-3-4-1

Spirit is exed

2-3-1

Three votes. It's clear who's elim

3-5-1

Win. (Striker on me results in you being LMS again)

How are we in this world when you have three votes? Check your PM as I'm gonna send something and the message might merge.
