Yeah I get it's not as simple as it sounds to just call CPS or the cops about it. But if you want to help your siblings; they're potential in danger if your parents are acting like this and risking their (and your) life because of their weird thing against going to the doctor. Ofc, I'm just guy on the internet who doesn't know the whole context, but from what I understand, something dangerous could happen to one of your siblings after you move out, and your parents might not get them to the care they need, which is child endangerment

(I say this not necessarily as an expert, but as one who knows a few cops and knows things that happen)

You can do whatever you do. However, @#1 Taln Fan is absolutely right. In those circumstances you have described, your siblings are really in danger. So many people in your exact situation do nothing because they don't know if they shouldd or could, and I would say you absolutely can and should. If it all works out, fine, but that at least gets cops and CPS involved, experts who know what to look for and how to handle it.

Anti-meds, anti-doctors, just anti-modern medicine, yeah.

*sigh*

I haven't been to the doctor in almost six years even though i've needed to go multiple times

I broke my foot a few years ago and my mom didn't want to take me to the doctor so she wrapped it in a sock and duct tape

and uh numerous other mental health issues and physical problems I don't want to talk about

Thats…….. call cps…. Look.

as someone who has dealt with foster kids and cps and all of that for over half my life’

CALL CPS

Ye 😬

My sister almost died actually- and my mom still refused to take her to the doctor

She passed out and hit her head and had a seizure

Still saying cps

.... what???
If you think you've likely broken something you should always get an x-ray at least, it could be broken bad enough that it might not heal properly or at all on its own. That's so dumb

That honestly is probably grounds for child protective services to get involved in some way, that's not okay

YES YES YES

AGREE

Is there an adult at your school you could tell? I have parent issues as well and I understand the hesitancy to call CPS but if your sister could have a seizure and pass out and she doesn't do anything... you probably should get someone involved if your mom isn't going to change.

oh dear. its like the tall people club at the high school I will go to. there was a tall people club, until they let not so tall people join, so now its an everybody club and it died shortly after. No matter! We shall prosper despite the people short of stature. In fact, we will prosper with them!

We like having short people around. They make tall people seem taller

Hello everyone. Is 5’11 feet (1.7 meters if i did the conversion correctly) enough to be considered tall?

average height for a woman in the U.S is about 5'4. For men its 5'10.

So your above average height, about the 75 percentile. 'tall' is a subjective word but i'm going to proclaim you tall and invite you to join if you care to
