Elan glared. "Fine. No poker. Be that way, jerk." He sits on the floor cross legged and starts playing solitaire, occasionally giving Felicity angry looks because he feels like it.

“Sorry about your cards, but you need to be a bit more sensitive.”

Aela threw the cards on the ground carelessly.

It was far less than Elan deserved.

Elan whirled around, yelping and stumbling over, falling on his back. "People! Why are there people!" He sat there for a second. "Oh. I'm Elan. Hi. Who are you?"

She stepped back frightened. Cye reached out to help up Elan. “I’m Cye. That’s Felicity. That’s Ian and Aela.”

"Huh. Cryptic. It's be funner to just light this cornfield on fire, so the flame won't be resting anymore. I think they make good kindling." He looks at the nearest cornstalk inquisitively.

Ian thought they’d judged him pretty quickly… and pretty harshly. But who was he to talk? Nobody, really.

He sat down next to Elan. “I’ll play, if you’ll promise to let Felicity be.”

The shadows started to stir. Maybe they should get out, instead of standing there.

He gently started to pull Felicity closer to the fence. “We need to get out of here. You too, Elan.”

Aela went with him, gripping Felicity's hand tightly.
