The main attraction over, the people were permitted to filter out of the square. Guards escorted Taylor and Zera to their own carriage, separate from the king's. The king and a few of his concubines went into the same carriage as the two other girls had, while the top two and the rest of the concubines entered a separate carriage.

Maverick slowly trudges out of the square, not looking where he's going, he crashes into someone else on accident.
