In the chamber beyond, there is a small, albeit deep, pool of clean water.

Not far yet. My nerd powers...

Argoyle looks into it and wonders...

How long can I hold my breathe?

Is the water clear?

Very. He can see the bottom.

I'm gonna say it's like 15-ish feet deep.

"Where am I?" He asked to nobody in particular.

He was lying in a field.

Go read the intro post if you haven't already :D

If you and Stormy want to team up, you can just drag his character around until he gets here tonight. He said he'll have more time tomorrow.

So not a good hiding spot. Maybe I could put the grass on top? Shame. Unless they're smell based? it's possible...

"Fresh water. Good." Argoyle drinks as much of his water as he can manage, and refills it.

Hehehe :P

There are a lot of things you could do here, but yeah, it's up to you.

Also, when I say "small" pool, I mean, like

twenty feet across.

@Through The Living Glass as we are continuing to walk through the caves do we find water?

Use spoiler boxes for questions and stuff like that :D

The little quotation mark next to the spoiler box button

And anyway, yeah, you'll just have to find water. It's up to you where you go, though! There are lots of little side chambers and passages.

Darn. I can't kill people with hypothermia. Pity.

Argoyle brushes past the strange man who insists on following him, and continues to go deeper into the caverns.

400 paces in, turn right, fresh water.

Could they?

Argoyle sighs "Thomas -or whatever your name was- I'm sure there are other people who would love to have you. But I don't. I'm here for fun, and to get away from people."

Can't people leave me alone?

He keeps walking down, deeper into the cave

Welcome to Hunted: A Hide-and-Seek RP . . . A fun, totally safe game you signed up for on a shady government website!

Your character stands in a wide, empty field. Around the field there are a few trees, which, we can assure you, will provide no cover, and seem to be there mostly for decoration.

The only other noticeable features are several large, deep, dark holes in the ground. You can't see where they lead from here, but your character already knows the gist of the game, and so it seems pertinent that you reach them quickly.

You have a backpack full of some basic first-aid supplies, a water bottle for storing water, and some rope. On your wrist is a simple watch that tells you the time of day, and also what day it is- currently, it is Monday. It also will vibrate when the seekers are coming.

Before the game started, you were briefed with some survival tips and rules:

---

1. Food and water will not be a problem. There are ample edible plants, fungi, and insects (if you so wish) to forage in the caverns. There are also naturally-occurring pools of water that will be easily accessible to all of you.

2. There are plenty of glowing organisms in the underground, but you have been equipped with a small flashlight, just in case.

3. When your watch buzzes, hide. A seeker is near.

4. It is advised that you don't form groups of more than three people. You'll be easier to find.

5. There are plenty of places to hide, but choose where you hide wisely.

6. You are not allowed to kill your fellow players- directly.

7. Above all else, stay hidden.

---

That sixth one concerns you a little, but you're sure it'll be fine.

Anyway, beyond what you were told, you have no idea what to expect. But all you have to do is last until next Monday- how hard could it be?

Good luck!

They won't. The buzzing mimics some of the sounds made by insects :D

Good to know.

Argoyle keeps checking side passages for caverns, always returning to same passage, dropping a few grass leaves in different size piles in the corners, to mark each path.
