Your Arcanum Unbounded 2 Wishlist

Brandon's hinted at Arcanum Unbounded 2 happening at some point, so I'm wondering what everyone would want to see in a second volume. 

I think it's a given that we'll see at least:

• Mistborn Secret History 2
• Storydeck 1 (All Hail King Lopen)
• Storydeck 2 (Jasnah in Shadesmar)
• Some sort of short story from the Cosmere RPG (similar to the 11th Metal/Allomancer Jak stories from the Crafty Games books)
• And I wouldn't be surprised if they included Dawnshard just to compile it. 

 

I'm also hoping we get something about the Humans on Ashyn meeting Odium for the first time, a story from the perspective of a shard we haven't seen, and the Rock Novella, Horneater.

Nalthis Essay
- Nalthis Short Story (potentially entirely separate from Warbreaker - like how Emperor's Soul was separate from Elantris but the same world)

Rather than Dawnshard/Horneater - I'd prefer something after SA5 

Depending on the wait, also:

- Darksider (Khriss on Taldain's Darkside)
- an Isaac Nicky Savage story
- A Silverlight setting short story

Not gonna happen, but I'd die for a Lumar story about a King's Mask.

I'd definitely love some more elantrian magic. It felt like a lot of applications from elantris were not used. The characters are using the same aons over and over again.

Also maybe a story from the future of the Cosmere.

-Hoping for that Kite planet, that likely has Whimsy because what's more whimsical than flying around on a storming kite?

-Also, more information on Nomad's previous and next destinations, the 'Cavern' planet and the sea world with Sho Del that is most probably UTol.

-Would also love an arcanum essay on Southern Scadrial, going more into their history and how life is down there. Heck, even just a story of a regular Southern Scadrian guy's life, not doing anything beyond the norm and just letting us see it, would be amazing.

Ditto on that. We know almost nothing about SoScadrial's culture, and even less about the Maskless.

I'd also love that one story about Niki Savage and the Book of Nails. Sounds like a cool Era 2 adventure with a new take on Hemalurgy. 

And of course a SH volume 2 would be great.

Concur - starting the story with Broken Magic did not allow much screen time to develop AonDor. Though a Short Story might be nice, I would prefer something other than Arelon/Teod since (confirmed in the new SotS) we have something else to anticipate:

My goal is to write Elantris Two as soon as I finish Ghostboods Three, so it's still a few years off—but I'm gearing up for it now! I’m excited to dive back into the world of my first published novel. So for those of you who love Sel, more is coming before too long.

Speaking of sequels, here's what I'M planning. A book that takes place ten years after the events of ELANTRIS. It would occur in the capitol city of Fjorden, and would star Kiin's children as viewpoint characters along with a Seon viewpoint character. The plot of the book: Wyrn has declared that Jaddeth, the Derethi God, is going to finally return. (A new interpretation of the scriptures says that he'll return when everyone east of the mountains converts, so they don't have to worry about Teod and Arelon.) Kiin's family, ambassadors to the Fjordell state, has to deal with the chaos of this announcement, and investigate the truth behind the Dakhor magic. Thoughts?

Even if we wouldnt get short stories for them, I would like the essays and star charts for the planets we are missing at the moment, like Nalthis, Lumar, Canticle, Komashi and probably also the world of Fires of December.

Also very much wishfull thinking, but anything concerning Vax would be very nice

One thing I'm really hoping to see in the future is a story with a much grander scale, told from the perspective of a Shard, or maybe even Adonalsium himself, letting us see things from a significantly larger perspective, like maybe a prequel showing the creation of Scadrial from Leras and/or Ati's perspective, or maybe a short story focusing on the mechanics of Braize or Canticle.
