This may be a bit odd, but what about the actors in the visions? They were sapient entities. Entering a vision creates them only for them to inevitably dissolve at the end of a vision. You are dissolving a sapient entity.

Hence let me ask the ethical question: Is causing a vision mass murder?

Although it seems Retribution has managed to recruit a past Dalinar from a vision, so it may be they’re chat bots with potential to make the leap to sapience.

Worth noting that vision Hoids weren’t actually able to fulfil their vision roles as they were aware of the vision nature BUT didn’t act/disrupt against or beyond the vision ‘intent’

They seem to me no more sapient than a chatbot; a recording based on a person with some dialogue options, but nothing more.

I was pretty much thinking that too. There's a little wiggle room but if you stray too far from the original event then it collapses.

Past Dalinar is enlightened by a strengthened connection to the original.  It may be possible to replicate this, though at present there’s only one more bondsmith that’s even possible

I was under the impression that Dalinar's reputation as the Blackthorn turned into a spren, not simply just a connection via Bondsmith. I'm sure it certainly helped that Connection could be manipulated, but we have been told that once a collective thinks of someone, or something, as something else, then it can become a sapient being (e.g. a spren)
