Smoke out the Secret Spren

So, I've been listening to Rhythm of War in preparation of Winds of Truth, and after getting to a chapter about secret spren, I had an interesting thought.  I've often wondered what will eventually happen when the magics of different worlds start mixing, as I'm sure most readers have. And something that occurred to me is that secret spren probably have something that is similar to what Seeker allowancers have.  

And that led me to the obvious question. Could a copper cloud protect against secret spren? My general thought is yes, it could. Unless

the secret spren are powerful enough to overwhelm a copper cloud, as Vin could.  

But what do you all think? Is there a WoB on this?

There is a WoB here, and it seems like Secretspren would be affected by a Coppercloud.

There's some minor Cosmere references in it though.

And then is there a connection between Aviars, copperclouds, aluminum, and the yellow spren, life sense, seeking?

Yeah, yeah all that, there are some relationships there.

Ummm, yes, yes.

Also, even though it's only touching on Cosmere-wide stuff lightly, it would probably be best to ask questions like this in the Cosmere Forum in the future.
