A new sharder has arrived! (It's me)

Hi! I'm RubyGoose. I was lurking on the forums for a little while but have finally decided to create an account. I'm excited to participate in the community here!

I first got into Brandon's work in January, (my first book was Mistborn) and since then have read Mistborn eras one and two, Tress of the Emerald Sea,, Elantris, Yumi and the Nightmare Painter, The Sunlit Man, and all of the current Stormlight Archive books. 

I also have a few questions

-I've heard a little about this Alleyverse thing. (I don't want the cookies.) How do I join it?

-Is there a spot to find all of the Wind and Truth preview chapters?

Also, if you could eat any cosmere food, what would it be? I think I'd choose some ramen from Kilahito.

Nice! Mistborn was my first Sanderson book too, and the series is my favorite of all time.

Cryptics are straight-up hilarious. The way they think is just so funny. I'd be a lightweaver, though, so I'm a little biased.

I think that allomancy and feruchemy are really cool magic systems. I have this theory that everyone on Scadrial has some potential allomantic/feruchemical power, but most of them are undiscovered because most of them are god metals and god metal alloys that Scadrians just don't have access to. Hemalurgy is... interesting. I think it has potential for good and bad, but I don't approve of it in cookie form. Then again, without hemalurgy, Ulaam wouldn't exist, and he's hilarious.

True, Hemalurgic cookies don't usually taste terribly good.

Also, while Hemalurgy is probably my favorite Metallic Art, it's probably never going to be a "good" magic. Just too many ways to abuse it with little effort. 

Still interesting though, and the few times it is used for good are pretty neat, I think.

Hello and welcome!! I am newerish too.

I would eat ( while its not in the cosmere) fried algae strips, because I am a sucker for fries, and it seems like the closest I could get.

If you could live anywhere in the cosmere, Where would it be??

Ooh, hard choice. I'm leaning towards post-catacendre Scadrial, since Mistborn was my first cosmere book and anything set on Scadrial feels kind of like coming home, Lumar, because I love the worldbuilding, or Komashi (after the events of Yumi and the Nightmare Painter) because it sounds like an incredibly fun place to live.

@kpShadowFoxI’d probably have a-steel, because flying around sounds incredibly fun. I think there’s a lot of fun feruchemical options out there too. Being able to store luck, breathing, hungriness, or energy, or health would be fun.
