Squall steers them around to look at the island. "Yup, that's an island" and he finds a good beaching spot and hops out.

@J. Magi

The island towers over your small group, a majestic domineering hulk of stone and wildlife. As you near the beach, a rocky peninsula to your right obscures the view of the islands beyond. The main island is shrouded in mist and clouds, and even before you reach the shore the cacophony of wildlife can be easily heard.

There aren't many sandy portions on this side of the island, but there are a few, one of which is the one you dock at. This portion of the island seems to slope up very quickly, but at least it's not sheer cliff.

The jungle begins only feet from where the beach emerges from the ocean, the shade of it's leaves almost seeming to beckon you...

"No way I thought it was a whale," Sharlin said jokingly.

Sharlin hopped out of the boat, staring up at the junlge.

"Something tells me that the plants here are gonna be even more dangerous . . ."

Never trust the vines.

"Yeah you've said that before."

Dying is a hard thing to let go of, believe it or not.

Ryn is laughing maniacally at this point. "Oh- OH GOD WHY IS THIS SO FUNNY"

Fourth glares, and Magic Connects to him, then does the magical equivalent of the “grab lapels then slam against wall” troupe/cliche/thing. He flicks his wrist, doing a “shut it” gesture.

Ryn looks a little drunk, but otherwise fine.

After a few more minutes, she stood up. “I should probably.. go talk to Mark.” She kissed Tinker and went to his parents’ house.

...Wrong thread, friend.

Maj begins walking back along the beach (Of the island with the starting beach and cornucopia close to it) towards the cornucopia.

"Hopefully there's something left, although I doubt it." He walks back, taking him a while to cover the distance he ran in his flight from the Greenspine, but eventually meanders his way back to the starting beach.

Once there, he lifts his machete warily and approaches, looking out towards the cornucopia to see if there's anything left.

Sharlin finished her squinting contest with the jungles edge.

"Well . . . . Yolo I guess," She said, continuing forward and stopping between some ferns. She was hoping that the amount of animals she could hear meant it would be less deadly for the common trespasser, but then again those animals might be the danger themselves. She watched the floor for ants, since she'd come to recognize them fairly well at this point.

"If we find another cave here, we could just camp out and wait for the other tribute's to kill each other off I guess . . ." She seemed more then mildly disappointed to be away from the main action.

Both Fourth and Magic blink for a second, stunned and confused. "Fine." Magic links to Ryn and suddenly you know where every animal on the islands are, and what they are doing. Insects and birds watch the tributes carefully.

Fourth did not understand his advanced humor lol

Ryn nods. "Honestly, very fancy. Nice Connections. I like it."

He's not a very humor oriented person, but he's shocked that Ryn would make jokes, not by their contents.

"I suppose I could use the cameras, but this is useful."
