August had run up while he'd been fighting Arke. He slashed his sword at March's head but he ducked out of the way just in time.

Naise dried her hands with a towel. Jolane was helping with laundry while she did the dishes, and Keryth had left that morning to hunt food. They had nearly nothing with them having been gone for a few days.

The dishes washed and dried, Naise joined her sister outside. She had done a lot already and was hanging things out to dry. Naise helped her finish.

"I miss them," her little sister finally said. "Mom and Dad, and my friends."

Naise leaned her head on her sister's. "Mom and Dad will be okay, and I'm sure your friends will be, too. You don't have to worry about them."

"Now." She slid her hands down her sister's arms and took her hands. "There's a family here with two children. If you want, you can help me watch them while their parents go out for the day."

Jolane smiled and nodded.

He glanced back around at the group. The street's traffic was giving the fight a wide berth, so it was easy to spot August who had been trying again to sneak up on him. March caught his sword and flung him to the side, though it looked like it took some effort. He hated to admit it, but all those little cuts and this prolonged arrest was wearing him down. The best option was to grab July and hold a blade under his throat so everyone stopped fighting.

Marched turned to the spot where July had been standing with his weird crossbow, but he was gone.

"So the little coward finally decided to run again?" He muttered with a smirk.

"I'm not sure, I was admittedly not paying attention," August said with a grimace as he swung his sword at March again. This time he finally made a large dent in March's pauldron, causing him to stumble forward.

April had disappeared as well, following July. He was taller and faster than her, but she was able to keep track of him.

"What?!" He whispered yelled at her. He was crouched behind a barrel in an alley that faced the fight, his crossbow reloaded and held at the ready.

He tucked a stray hair out behind his ear before re-sighting the crossbow on March.

He pressed the trigger and shot a bolt at March, but it went above his head and sunk into a wooden lamppost. Luckily, March didn't notice it because he was still occupied with the other too.

July cursed quietly to himself and reloaded. "The accuracy needs work . . . Anyway, August will keep fighting out there until March gives up, you know he hates delaying a fight he could push through now."

The fight between August and March was going to strongly for her to intervene now. July wasn't going to stop anytime soon either.

It didn't feel like she could do anything but watch.

So, she sat on the barrel July hid behind, and watched.

He fired again, this time the bolt hit the back of March's neck, striking hard but bouncing off of the chainmail there.

"DANGIT JULY YOU'RE STILL HERE AREN'T YOU," He shouted, glancing wildly around and trying to figure out where the bolts were coming from. The barrel and shadows of the alley disguised him well enough.

Basically what's happening rn:

-March attacked the main party when they entered the city, Arke dueled him for a bit but he is now fighting August.

-ExcoticAlmond made a character and she was trying to break up the fight.

-July, who was with them, duck into an alleyway to get out of the way and use his crossbow. April followed him and is back there with him.

-October and June still haven't shown up yet.
