I don't have the attention span to listen and actually focus on the music. I tend to not pay attention to the music and then I miss stuff

I feel like every musical's a bit cringey, like in Wicked the best song is about how Elphaba's done being chained down by society and how it;s time to stick it to the system man . Hamilton's got founding fathers rapping at each other and Heathers is... Heathers. I love all of these I'm not saying it's a bad thing I just think a lot of musicals have cringey elements in them and that's part of the appeal (to me anyway)

On Reddit, a lot of fandoms seem to be doing the whole "fill out the chart with characters/what would these characters' jobs be in XYZ setting," with EPIC being the most active that I've seen. HOWEVER, now someone on the Fire Emblem Three Houses Subreddit is filling out the chart of characters, using Three Houses characters. For example, Claude would be Odysseus, Dimitri would be Zeus (Dimitri has the voice to match Zeus, and he IS lightning-themed in Three Hopes after all!), and Lorenz is Eurylocus. 

Today's vote is for Polites. 

 

While this probably won't be the case, my guess/speculation/votes for upcoming roles:

Athena - F!Byleth, Rhea, or Ingrid. (If Ingrid or Rhea get the role, then F!Byleth can get the role of Penelope.)

Polyphemus - Probably one of the monster things that the Agarthans use

Perimedes - ??? 

Aeolus - Annette - Sings, is wind-themed, can be an accidental gremlin. Or Flayn, but I feel like Flayn is too nice. 

Penelope - Either Mercedes or Hilda. Hilda as a character feels far too lazy to be as faithful and proactive as Penelope, but she'll probably get the role if only because Claude is Ody. HOWEVER, as I said above, if Ingrid or Rhea get the role of Athena, then F!Byleth can get the role of Penelope. 

Poseidon - Probably an Agarthan, or Edelgard. But I think Lysithea would be HILARIOUS. (But yeah, Edelgard or an Agarthan.)

Circe - Dorothea. Dorothea will either be Circe or Aphrodite, that's a given. The question is who else could get the role if Dorothea is better off as Aphrodite? 

Hermes - Hmmm...I'd go either Leonie because she's pretty realistic, Lysithea because of Warp-strats in the game, or Raphael, because he's always cheerful. 

Anticlea - Claude's mother. But if we need an on-screen character, I say one of the more motherly characters, like Rhea, Flayn, or Mercedes. 

Tiresias - SOTHIS

Scylla - Marianne, because it's the darkest way to confirm her fears. 

Telemachus - It HAS to by Cyril, right? No other character really fits, especially since Claude is Ody. However, that means that Rhea has to be either Penelope or Athena. (And honestly, Athena fits.)

Antinuous - Shahid. He's the best fit. 

Calypso - This is where Hilda would shine IMO. 

Hephestus - Dedue

Aphrodite - I'M GENDER-SWAPPING APHRODITE TO BE SYLVAIN. That's RIGHT. 

Ares - Felix. Sylvain/Felix-shippers, rejoice! (That's not me, but it's one of the most popular Three Houses ships, if not THE most popular Three Houses ship. To the point that Sylvain JUMPED to the Top 10 men in Fire Emblem Heroes' Choose Your Legend voting earlier this year because Felix got in.)

Hera - Manuela. The utter irony that the goddess of marriage (whose husband can't stay faithful) is being played by a woman who can't get a husband just cracks me up. 

Princess Winion - Lysithea. Our Gremlin Nuke.

Winions - ???

Sirens - Kronya

So, the Kickstarter to the sequel to The Dragon Prince, called The Dragon King, is going live this upcoming week, and I'm curious to see how it'll do. I will NOT be backing it, as I haven't watched TDP since Season 4, and I've heard nothing but bitterness about how the show handled the final few seasons, but I'm going to be watching the Kickstarter, just for amusement and future data points. 

If it does get funded, I have a feeling the show's subreddit will implode, and it'll be hilarious.
