So, in responding to This Thread I reminded myself that a Godmetal may/will change when a vessel changes, which made me think:

• Would the properties of Preservation's Metal have changed if Kelsier had crafted physical Kelsium (or Vin made Vinium) during their brief times as vessel? How?

Yes, it's possible but that would happen over some time - he would have to stay as Preservation's Vessel for some time for those properties to shift (if they would ever shift):

Because Kel is very strongly fixated on saving and protecting Skaa, I don't think "Kelsium" properties would be any different than Lerasium, as those are kind of the best way of protecting people - it gives them power.  I can't really think of anything else better fitting to Kelsier.

Interesting. I wish that WoB wasn't paraphrased, because my two readings of that have different implications. Does that imply that if Kel had remained as Preservation that over time that metal would have changed, or is it saying that if Kel had made Godmetal and passed on the power, that the metal produced during his tenure would have changed over time even when he wasn't the Shard anymore?

I think it's worth noting that by the time Kelsier Ascended, he had seen Elend burn Lerasium and had a pre-existing concept of how the metal worked and what it did. This was when he was just dipping his toes in the broader Cosmere. Perhaps if he were more Cosmere aware he could have aimed for intentional changes to the properties.

It is worth noting that no matter what changes we're talking about to Godmetal properties, the Lerasium formed when Wax split Harmonium still made Wax and Wayne Mistborn.
