The Unsoulcastable Stick He/Him Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 I've asked my friends this question and got varied answers because sometimes people with similar personalities get along great or sometimes they are too similar and hate each other I think yes but they would be like siblings being great friends but also able to hit where it hurts but would forgive each other and be friends again, also if you are answering who you think is better don't put each other down and give me your best thoughts on why

Brandon Sanderson They would get along fantastically, absolutely fantastically. Lopen would find Wayne imitating his accent to be the funniest thing that he has ever heard... and Wayne would introduce him to all kinds of interesting modern conveniences like flushing toilets and whatnot and Lopen would find that all just delightful. So, yes they would certainly hit it off. As for who I think is better, it depends; I love Lopen for his optimistic outlook in WoK, as he was able to help Kaladin out and maintain a sense of levity in such dire situations. Wayne feels more empathic to me, as he has actual serious regrets in his past. He too supports his friends, and again brings levity to the scene (albeit in a much cruder fashion). Personally, I found Wayne funnier, though in TLM he seemed more crass and less whimsical to me, which reduced that trait. 3
