I know Im late to this and like it was said above but i just had to say that this was the inspiration for my username

I have this question because in the book SLA it talks about how Larkin eat Investiture and the metal in scadrial is invested It could also be that the Allomancer is the one to turn it into investiture although that is less likely because of the light that comes from metal when Vin is Preservation Also this would mean that if you had a Larkin on scadrial then it could be one of the best ways to detect who is an allomancer

i would say that this has more nuances than that sentence would imply as envoyform plays with the connection of the person holding it so they can understand all languages (which could be argued is surgebinding as it is playing with natural forces) im sure theres more but im not an expert on all the regal forms

i was thinking more along the lines of they were both part of the ghostbloods but the children werent, we know that the ghostbloods will let the children of ghostbloods go because they left shallans brothers alone until they need leverage for shallan, also about shallan hiding it i could be thinking of a different thing and mixing things up a lot of stuff is to convoluted to keep in my brain not for the lack of trying

I've asked my friends this question and got varied answers because sometimes people with similar personalities get along great or sometimes they are too similar and hate each other I think yes but they would be like siblings being great friends but also able to hit where it hurts but would forgive each other and be friends again, also if you are answering who you think is better don't put each other down and give me your best thoughts on why

thanks for the help i haven't read all the WoB but they sound interesting, appreciate the respectful way you showed i was wrong im not all the way in the wrong in my opinion i think it is possible even likely that a ghostblood has fallen in love (or not) and had a child with someone from a different world i also realized that the timeline would be wrong also because im pretty sure that the ghostbloods have only been on Roshar for about 40-50 years. by the time of Rythm of War i also wonder what would happen if a smoker were to be burning copper when someone using stormlight was nearby @alder24 i believe it is sometime in WoR at some point when she was in the warcamps i cant provide a quote because i have no memory for quotes but she sucked in stormlight and thought something along the lines of its wonderful but heard someone coming and she did some mental shoving and stopped glowing. although now that i think about it she could have just mentally done a small lightweaving to help hide or it could be because she has so much more practice than the other lightweavers

while I acknowledge that we know that the Ghostbloods are on Roshar and i was thinking that it is possible that one of the Ghostbloods from Scadrial fell in love with a Rosharan woman and had a child somewhere down the line it also says somewhere (i think) that she did it while she wasnt Lightweaving. also, the reason that I think she could use stormlight is because of her connection to the Roshar her spirit thinks that it is Rosharan, (because it is) and many of the investiture is dependent on connection which she is connected to Roshar, also she only uses it for a while, as far as i know she is the only one who can hide her stormlight while not Lightweaving. I would think that if she can burn copper she only subconsciously switches to stormlight when she starts lightweaving. although it is only a theory

That was fairly understandable also those are some good theory's I approve the thought put into them although there are a few slight problems with it I believe that the DS Rysn holds is the one that Hoid held because we know that he is able to fight he just doesn't like to because we know that he has killed people before I can't remember what book it was, also one of the reasons I think that Rysn holds the one Hoid held for it was that she was perfect because she understood the process of change very intimately with what happened with her legs. also although I like the Idea with nightblood i believe if my timeline is correct then Ruin couldnt have given the DS because he was trapped in the well of ascension. although please correct me if im wrong

This could contain some spoilers if you haven't read Warbreaker and the 4th book of Wax and Wanye stop here, also this does briefly mention a possibly sensitive subject if that makes you uncomfortable please stop reading. In warbreaker you can have more Breaths than just one but each person only starts with one so if you accept that the consciousness is different from the soul then you can take someone's soul from them and they can still think and walk around if you were to get to the fifth heightening you would never die from old age. Also at some point in the Forth book of Wax and Wayne someone who has an Aether who essentially bonded them like a spren would, he said something along the lines of (Aether) wants you to know if you still chose to fight me you will not be reborn for 100(0) years to think about what youve done. so we know the basis of the afterlife in the cosmere. if you got the breath from every person born could you up the number of people born without a soul in the cosmere or as i imagine it people who are stillborn

Warning if you haven't read all of Stormlight Archive, and Mistborn Why, also you might not want to read this In Stormlight Archive it says that Shallan can suppress her stormlight, and in mistborn smokers hide the pulses of investiture, and stormlight is just a different form of investiture, I would think that due to Shallan's childhood she definitely had enough trama to snap and be able to burn copper, although it doesn't say she senses a reserve I imagine that it just would be hidden by the stormlight, also could she be using stormlight to power her allomancy Edit please tell me your thoughts on my theory
