How did such a name as Turinad Sebarial happen in a Vorin society? And as a highprince's name, too? Neither name is symmetrical at all, not even having an 'h' to have the wild card of symmetry. Most other highprinces have a symmetrical name, or one closely symmetrical, such as Bathab, Ruthar, Roion, Thanadal, Vamah, Sadeas, Aladar, and Hatham. Kholin seems asymmetrical, but would be written "Klolin" with a mark on the first 'l' to be pronounced with an h, so it's still somewhat symmetrical. But Sebarial? He has nothing! It doesn't make sense that the Vorin church would allow something like that. Maybe I'm overthinking this, though.

Thoughts?

This just the first idea that popped into my head, so take it how you will, but

Sebarials parents might not have been Vorin, or at least didn't care about Vorin naming traditions

it does mention that Sebarial isn't very religious, so maybe it was just that they didn't care.

Sebarial, the land, is possibly not originally ethnically Alethi. They conquered it. Old names last a long time.

Actually, House names aren't tied to symmetry nearly as much as feminine first names. Highprincedom names are derived from the respective glyphs (where the symmetry lies). For example: Kholin is derived from Khokh and Linil. Sebarial is derived from Sebes and laial (we do not yet know from where the "ar" bridge syllable was derived). Please see this Coppermind Page

I also want to throw out there that Sebarial is just the sort of person to change his name to something distinctly not symmetrical, just because it will annoy his peers, and keep up the facade that he's an idiot and not a mad genius. That said, I assume there is a better in-world reason for his name.
