“Yeah, that’s what I’d been trying to explain.” Nick scoops up some of the sand, experimentally pouring it onto the suit. “Plants essentially do that, and so does my suit. But the crystals make it so that you can steal much more at once.”

If that doesn’t work, Nick turns back to Kaleb. “That looks pretty sun-like to me. Let’s try an exorcism. Can I have a second crystal?”

SIMON sees/senses some form of radioactivity, but not enough to be dangerous.

 @The Stormfather, does it work? Kaleb’s crystals are intended to trap sun demons, but they also work on heat, electricity, and likely other, more arcane forms of energy.

The light blind you and all becomes a pale shade of yellow. It begins to fade, and this time, you are in a small, twenty foot diameter circular cavern ( not a perfect circle) with one tunnel leading out of it.

it’s very dark, and you can’t see beyond the small exit. All is silent.

Magi “Do you two want lights? It’ll take me thirty seconds. I’m going to see if there’s any metal deposits here.” Looks around, occasionally pressing his hand to the wall. 
Does he find anything?
