IMPORTANT QUESTION

  1. 1. What do you want to happen to this RP when the current plotline ends?

    • Start another RP of the same characters, like a season 2
      3
    • Keep going with no plan at all
      0
    • Make new characters and have an RP of a similar concept, but, effectively with a new party
      3
    • End the RP (THIS ONE BETTER NOT WIN BUT I FELT I HAD TO ADD IT ANYWAYS)
      1

Genius

I applaud your creative genius

Oh

and yes

I voted that this should end

I love it

But I also love that feeling of completion when you're like "oh wow this is really over", but that never happens with RPs so my fomo just explodes

So

yeah

There is no map of the building clearly on the desk, although the computer may have something on it.

"Well, presumably it would be in here somewhere, but I've not been inside here before, so I'm not sure where it would be."

Tenth, shrugged, and teleported away after explaining that he was going to search for a while.

He finds that in front of the elevator there is a short description of what’s on each floor, and what access key is needed for each section. Most of the floors just say ‘offices’, but there is one floor right in the middle of the ones that don’t need any access key that takes the highest rank. There is no description of it.

Tenth starts to just teleport to it. Access key shmaccess key.

He will just be performing reconnaissance before getting the other.

Cavan you give me a rundown on the bounds of tenth’s powers and how not being able to see the destination effects it?

I don’t teleport directly to it - I teleport up a floor at a time. But, I don’t need to see to teleport, it just guarentees that I don’t teleport in the middle of something in my way.  For the each teleport, he would have gotten as close to the roof as possible to gauge its thickness (1st floor), as well as avoid any wanton desks.

He just teleports in a direction, and is carried a distance within a semi-set (changes with velocity) range.

Aki had no idea how to work with the strange light up box, so he asked JAMES if he could do something.

The Kami started to try 'hacking it' whatever that meant.

JAMES quickly found that the password to the computer was 1234, and that he could access the map. It showed that the Teleporter was on the same floor that Tenth was about to search, and in the general center of the building.

"Here it is, I think," Aki said, gesturing for Deven to look. "Tenth might already be there, so I guess we should start moving ourselves."

Sorry about the slow response, I had like 20 notifs and must have missed the one from this RP.

Deven glances around nervously. "This place is weird." He looks at the map to locate the elevators. "We probably need some kind of keycard, or we could try to.." He pauses. "I have a really stupid idea. It could be possible to drop the elevator to the bottom and climb up the elevator shaft, I think. We would just have to press the button for the basement, jump out of the elevator, and then... Break open the door?"

"Okay. Just press the button." Kaleb begins moving to press the button.

Tenth is curious as to what he found.

@The Stormfather

As he Teleported up the floors, he found many, many offices and cubicles, workstations and computers. It seemed like most of the building was that kind of stuff, and it was all still empty.

Then, as he Teleported up to the floor that had been marked for the highest clearance level, he appeared in a mostly empty hallway. In front of him was a large room, covering the entire floor save for the elevators, bathrooms, and some small offshoots that seemed to be for storage.

Inside the room, there were several large machines, some that appeared quite, quite complex. One was a generator, that was certain, but it didn't seem to be using anything to make the electricity. It was linked up to a cylindrical machine in the center that pulsed with familiar yellow energy.

There were people in the room, around two dozen. About five-ish seemed to be scientists studying the Teleporter, another group of a dozen seemed to be security guards, and the last few people...

They were odd.

One was a man in a full set of plate armor, holding an Auton-Killer sword. He looked like a medieval knight, though he was clearly accustomed to the new weapon.

There was a trio of three-foot tall humanoid lizards, with rusty red scales and long, fanged snouts. They held silvery daggers, and one had a small crossbow strapped to it's back.

These are the warriors, the ones that Ardaklin found from other worlds, that were willing to join him.

Then, there were two... People? They only could have been what Deven had described as the Clockwork Auton, who looked like a set of plate armor that fully covered most of the body, and inside was various mechanisms of gears and steam. It looked clunky, but Tenth could also see that the arms it had could probably pack a punch.

Tenth teleported back down quietly, then returned to the others, recounting what he had found.

Deven listens as Tenth tells him what was up there. "Two Auton? Could be worse, I guess. I can probably handle them, as long as you can keep all of the others away from me. I don't like the sound of those lizards, though. They seem like they might have a few tricks."

Aki's brow furrowed, " . . . What is an elevator?"

Tenth nodded. “I could also take an Auton… but it would be risky with the other combatants.”

Just now, The Stormfather said:

"Yeah, pretty much." Deven nods.

"Alright, we can do that! I think, probably."

Aki glanced at the map on the monitor, and pointed to what he thought was an elevator near them, "How about that one?"

Sorry about not responding.

Oops.

Deven nods. He then walks over and presses the button, calling the elevator down to your floor. After that, he reaches one arm in to hit a button and get it to go down to the basement, and pulls his arm out before the door closes.

"We gotta get this door back open, to do this. Could I have some help?" He puts his fingers in the small gap between the closed doors and tries prying outward, but the doors barely move.
