I would have to choose surgebinding in the Stormlight archive. Firstly because it can do so many different things and secondly I like the whole oaths part and how the different characters reach their different oaths. 

I would again have to choose the Stormlight archive and my favorite of the Stormlight Archive books would probably be Oathbringer although words of Radiance would be a close second. I like Oathbringer best because Dalinar's flashbacks were some of the best and the ending of that book was just perfect.
