Edgedancer he/him Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Talking about planning, anything left to hold of the time-skip? Whichever way lends itself better to tormenting Backtrack. So probably Reader calling Autumn in would be the better option, since it would give the illusion that whoever is in charge trusts Reader more and gives him more authority, when really it's the other way around. After seeing the Koschei/Reader conversation in that office, such a display would make Backtrack even more nervous. If it makes Backtrack more miserable do it, sounds like a pretty good guideline. I wonder, would "not an Epic" introduction help in this situation? Depinding on how it goes it could seem like the Vanilla henchwoman having to declare her inferiority. (By the way, am I the only one that wants to make some kind of Epic=random flavour joke?) Now, excuse me while I create a list of the hints for the sequel Protagonist being Kaneki under a new identity. Suprisingly there are enough that I don´t feel like I´m simply in denial, which could of course be part of a diabolic scheme to raise my hopes just to trample them.

And the best part is that she greets everyone that way. If Reader uses the "healer" remark, she won't be happy, so her standard greeting could come across as a vanilla woman forced to declare her inferiority and not especially happy about it. Rum raisin. Nobody likes rum raisin. That is when you flee to the internet to read and/or write fix fics. Seriously, it helped me with the last Harry Potter book. I think we are ready for the skip. Please tell me there's a fanfiction on the Internet where Funtimes defeats Voldemort. I was under the impression that the time skip had already taken place, in the last Remington scene. * is woefully confused by official planning matters *
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 I was under the impression that the time skip had already taken place, in the last Remington scene. * is woefully confused by official planning matters * I honestly have no clue either right now.

I must rectify this! It's in effect.
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 You mean it hasn't been written yet? I must rectify this! It's in effect. Write, write like the Brandon! Then who goes next in the museum? Kobold?
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 26, 2014 Author Posted October 26, 2014 Write, write like the Brandon! Then who goes next in the museum? Kobold? I don't know how important turn order is at the moment. I think we're just making sure everyone is caught up and getting the characters where they need to be post-skip.

Well yeah but right now the plot can´t really move on without Lightwards returning to the MoNA. What is going to happen post-skip? Thoughtown and Empire meeting, mostly. TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 26, 2014 Author Posted October 26, 2014 Edge: True. So think Kobold would be next in the museum. pir2h: The skip only applies to Portland. The Dalles is on it's own timeline.

Looking at all the weirdness surround our attempts at a time skip, I'm suddenly really glad we didn't try out a Doctor Who RP. 1

Right on the one time I forgot to save my work as I went, too. Looking at all the weirdness surround our attempts at a time skip, I'm suddenly really glad we didn't try out a Doctor Who RP. Don´t worry. I´ve started writing the dialouge scene for Nighthound, Ray and Voidgaze that leads in to Lightwards showing up, so it´s not like I have nothing to do. We could always immobilise the TARDIS to keep it at a basic level of comprehensibility. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 26, 2014 Author Posted October 26, 2014 Can you imagine how weird it would be with time travel? More specifically, can you imagine how much zanier the Funtimes/Lightwards scenes would get if they could continuously go back in time to sabotage each other? 2

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 26, 2014 Author Posted October 26, 2014 "You never raised those dinosaurs, Lightwards. I went back and turned all of their bones into plaster." Lightwards' face turned red. "Well—I just went back and ensured you never met Traveler! Fortuity killed him the night you met." "Pfft. I replaced Traveler with a lifelike bearded mannequin!" Nathan blinked. "Um, Doctor? I don't have a beard." She giggled. "Didn't stop Lightwards from stealing the mannequin." Lightwards turned and saw she was telling the truth. "Wait a minute. Why did I even take this if I wanted him murdered?" Koschei shrugged. "You got me. I'm not even supposed to be here right now." 4
Mailliw73 he/him Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) About the skip, I'm a,ready working on a Thoughttown post that gets the to the meeting. Mail-Mi or Twi, can you send me that link again? I can't get to it for some reason. Edited October 27, 2014 by Mailliw73
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Are we ever going to do anything with Hivemind? Hivemind is a lot like Astoria. Something with a lot of Backstory, which may or may not be used. I was just practicing writing Backstory when I made Hivemind. It'll get used if you guys really want a Epic who can just take complete, permanant control over your characters in this RP.
Curiosity he/him Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 The Backtrack/Reader story is really intriguing and entertaining. (I'm still impressed with the dedication you've shown the this and the overall quality of the writing, so keep it up, y'all.) 4

I keep forgetting that other people from across the forum read this on occasion. Thanks, that really means a lot for my end of the story.

mail-mi he/him Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Here's his profile, then. Miner Powers - Can create mine shafts and tunnels at will, and can shape them to a minute degree of detail. Can sense deposits of any type of metal ore or other mineral. Can change dirt into stone in a small area (no more than 10 ft by 10 ft by 10 ft). Examples of his fine level of detail - he was able to create a shaft small enough to insert his arm into, and then change a ring of dirt into rock tight enough to serve as a tourniquet. Weakness - Curry. Physical description - short and heavy, with thick, black hair and beard. Lost an arm very recently, still wearing the ring of stone that served as a tourniquet to save his life. Found it! Which means that the chasm Miner created was just a mining shaft or a tunnel that pointed down instead of sideways. 1
