Kobold King he/him Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Yeah. I don't know what to do with a walking scene besides have Edgerunner rant some more to herself about Glamour/Wilbert. If you want to set up the scene and how everything looks at HQ and then have them walk in, we could do that. Thanks. I thought that'd be fun. I could probably figure something out. I don't know if I'm up to a Vondra introduction this evening--I'm pretty tired after a hard day. But I should be able to work out a scene tomorrow. That's Glamour's main strength as a character. Providing music to every imaginable scene. Before Calamity Wilbert Abners did a lot of music remixes for his YouTube channel, and he still spends a great deal of his time shuffling and re-shuffling his music collection. What is the Manliest Coffee know to Man? If Lightwards is Philosoraptor, then I fully embrace CorpseMaker as Overly Manly Man. 2

Kobold King he/him Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Wait. If Lightwards is the Philosoraptor and CorpseMaker is Overly Manly Man, what does that make Funtimes? O.o Nyan Nyan Cat, obviously. 1
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 And Actually, you guys might be wrong. I just found a Coffee that CAN KILL YOU if you're not Resistant to Coffee. It's called Deathwish Coffee. CorpseMaker is drinking that. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 Nyan Nyan Cat, obviously. Would anyone object if she skipped into the meeting singing the Nyan Cat song? (Besides Lightwards and Altermind. Their votes don't count. ) 1
mail-mi he/him Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Nyan Nyan Cat, obviously. And Reader is Scumbag Steve. Nighthoud is just too horrible to put on a meme 1

Would anyone object if she skipped into the meeting singing the Nyan Cat song? (Besides Lightwards and Altermind. Their votes don't count. ) Fun fact: I have genuinely listened to this song multiple times whenever I'm writing a scene involving characters reacting to Funtimes. A different kind of "Nyan Nyan," I know, but it is STILL RELEVANT. 1

I think we just found a ship name that rivals "Shadow Revolution" in sheer awesomeness. And yes. Also while I wrote the bakery scene with Lightwards, simply because it's an astonishingly cheery song that makes it easier to write about Lightwards being a meanieface. 1

If we wanted to go all OTT, we could have Deathwish Coffee Revolution…. And now I will hear that song every time Lightwards has a scene to himself. Or is in a scene with Funtimes. If Altermind doesn't use his powers to inflict that song as an auditory hallucination to anyone in Lightwards' presence, I will lose all respect for the man. Though at the very least, we finally have a song Glamour can play if he ever meets Funtimes. 2

Don't imagine it happening. Bad things happen if you do. Only bad things. Conversely, if he does, I will begin cheering Thoughttown as my new favorite faction. I have a few less insane songs that have fit her in the past and will fit her in the future, but spoilers. 1
Voidus Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 She could definitely be a major line of defense. Though his most trusted bodyguards will always be humans. How were you thinking she knew him? Friend of her parents probably, she would've only been 14 when Koschei took over. 1
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Coffee Shop Scene is up. The sad thing about Murphy is, as soon as he starts using his power tonight, He'll bet more Darker. If he doesn't use it, he'll end up leaving CorpseMaker's team before long. But Calamities Corruption will make him stay.

You know, I complain a lot about Nighthound (may he die soon), but I think my least favorite character in this universe is Calamity. 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Yes. If anyone has anything important that went on during the skip, sum it up in a post that brings everyone to right around 7, the time of the meeting. Nothing important on my end. I would imagine that currently Nighthound is trying to fish all the information he can get out of Voidgaze and hiding it behind mockery. Edgedancer, how do we want to get Voidgaze back to Thoughttown? Wait till the meeting, when Altermind can tell her to go back? Sounds good enough for me. And Actually, you guys might be wrong. I just found a Coffee that CAN KILL YOU if you're not Resistant to Coffee. It's called Deathwish Coffee. CorpseMaker is drinking that. That´s pretty strong coffee, although CM being invincible kind of takes from the badassery. Anyway, there´s a coffee shop in town that can be used for assassination, good to know... Funtimes with a caffeine overdose.... Coffee Shop Scene is up. The sad thing about Murphy is, as soon as he starts using his power tonight, He'll bet more Darker. If he doesn't use it, he'll end up leaving CorpseMaker's team before long. But Calamities Corruption will make him stay. That scene was a lot more upbeat than I would have expected from Corpsemaker. Anyway, I think I might start calling Murphy Alcatraz, just for the heck of it and how bad can it be... I mean, he went from making children cry for the Evulz to awkwardly smiling at a waitress within a day,right?...... right? 3

Lightwards turns his scenes into a hardcore Mafia program. Gordon's scenes are often a particularly gruesome crime drama. Electro scenes are about as family-friendly as a trip to the Colosseum, and Nighthound's POV is like watching an interview with a convicted serial killer. But the latest CM scene feels like the sweetest scene in a romantic comedy. I officially have no idea what this RP is about any more. Great. Another (sometimes) likable Epic given over to corruption. You know, I complain a lot about Nighthound (may he die soon), but I think my least favorite character in this universe is Calamity. Agreed. It's a pity we can't kill off Calamity because of that pesky "canon." 3

It's a pity we can't kill off Calamity because of that pesky "canon." The RP is about two things. 1)Destroying Oregon 2)Awesomness in all it´s variants, from godlike beings engaging in immortal kombat up to drinking coffee with the best bad boss ever (This last one is especially awesome). I´m sure there is a way.............. Not that I know it. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 24, 2014 Author Posted October 24, 2014 That coffee shop scene was...I don't know how to describe it. Like watching Darth Vader take Luke Skywalker out for donuts. Not as a Sith Lord and Rebel, or even as a Sith Lord and trainee, but as father and son. Not that CorpseMaker is Murphy's father (though I wouldn't object) but it had that same kind of laid-back sweetness to it. And I know CorpseMaker is going to ruin it all next scene with his idea of "fun," but still. The coffee shop scene was nice. By the way, do you think Calamity is immune to Deathwish Coffee? 2

I'm going to guess so, since it's an evil supernova and all, but I don't think Steelheart could take it. Steelheart doesn't have the primal manliness it takes to survive a brush with Deathwish Coffee. 1

Northwesterners know how to survive Deathwish Coffee. It was Seattle that gave the world Starbucks, though most Washingtonians prefer little hole-in-the-wall shops. What did Chicago give us? Al Capone and political corruption. 1

I'd watch what you say about Chicago. A certain statue Epic might take umbrage at your remarks. Washington has trees, apple orchards, cherry orchards, Seattle (home of Pike's Market and Kurt Cobain) and Mt. Rainer, described by one writer as "rising like a giant middle finger to the other forty-nine states." It also has Moses Lake, but we don't talk about that one. Would this certain statue Epic consent to buying some Chicago-style pizza in Washington? 1
Kobold King he/him Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I'm just still confused on what Chicago Joe actually does . Power-wise, he's capable of transforming his body into stone, becoming stiff and immobile like a statue. He generally uses this power to take long naps outside without being disturbed. As for his modus operandi... well, he's spent the last few years hiking around Portland, stealing food and liquor from vanillas too terrified to realize he isn't actually a threat. He hasn't really been a major player on the Portland political scene. I've never been to the Northwest, but it's steadily sounding nicer and nicer. I almost feel bad about assisting in its destruction. Yes, provided you didn't use the words "Newcago," "Steelheart," "steel," or "hygiene." 2
