Almost considering having them get sent to the firing squad just so MV can pull a Neo stunt on them and freeze the bullets :P

I don't know that I'd class the twins as lesser Epics, particularly when they're together. But yes, perhaps some timely intervention from everyones favourite not-an-Epic would be good :P

I view them as when they are apart, they are less powerful, but together they are at least High Epic Status

I just realized that I think Flashpoint has the most on-screen kills in that toy soldier battle. None of my other Epics have really killed anyone yet.

Kobold and I were thinking of naming the outposts by the Greek alphabet and the command posts by the military call signs. What do you think? Do you have any other ideas? If we go with the military option, it'll be a Command Post Tango.

That naming convention works for me.

That would be awesome.

It would be awesome, but am I the only one who thinks Vondra would keep lethal injections of some sort on hand for Epics like the twins? O.o

He probably should, I'm not entirely sure what the twins are going to do now. Depends on what Backtrack does I suppose.

That would be incredibly awesome, but TwiLyght's correct. Redlight would be used to to immobilize them, Glamour would be used to disorient them, and Deathwish would be told to inject them with the poison. I imagine that Team Vondra has probably done this before.

Autumn WILL try to defuse the situation. So they could always work with her. Besides, she hates Reader, so the three of them could bond over their mutual hatred. :P

Just the three of them? I'm pretty sure the entire planet could bond over their mutual hatred of Reader :P

Yes, but you can't sit down and have a beer with the entire planet after work. Or can you?

Guys, I think I have a plan for world peace! :P

And then Nighthound died.

Off topic, but because I promised it earlier….

It doesn't have eyes.... WHY DOESN'T IT HAVE EYES!?!?!?!?

Now I just need to create an Epic named Warbringer, whose weakness is world peace. :P

Because the eyes are the window of the soul.

I know, right? Lightwards was supposed to be a kind and cuddly man who'd spend all his time handing out spam to homeless people, but his characterization completely got away from me. :P

Yeah, I remember my plans, Voidgaze was supposed to be a lot less expresive but that didn´t last long. :P

Nighthound threw my count off in his first post. Do you know what the first thing he did upon entering Portland was? HE MURDERED AN ENTIRE CROWD OF PEOPLE. I've got him put down for a rough thirty-five fatalities at the moment, and I know as a fact his kill count only goes up later on.

I´m fairly confident that as far as Players go I currently have the highest on-screen kill count. ;)

I don´t think teamwork counts as a prime Invincibility, so I would still count them as lesser Epics. Talking about that, does MV have somekind of transference speed limit, both in amount of force and switching from one object to the other?

we think, um.. we believe that no Epic should rule over another, we are all blessed by Calamity"

If I were an Epic I would have so laughted at this part, even if the speech was delivered properly. :P

pir2h, out of curiosity, can Cassandra´s healing factor be overpowered or blocked, by let´s say a teleporter getting her away from the mists?

By the way Senoid, I think there still are no profiles for your Epics.

High Epics don't all have a PI, but the twins very nearly do anyway, they couldn't be killed by pretty much anything they're aware of, the only thing I can think of that would kill them is oxygen deprivation or poisoning.

MV can shift almost any amount of momentum but she needs time to switch between targets, or to set up an AoE of particularly large size. Depending on certain plot points we may get some Corrupted!MV POVs showcasing her badassery, or go the other way and have her just play a bunch of pranks on people. *Cough* Reader *Cough*

The definition for being a high Epic is having prime Invincibility and at least one offensive power, which means by definition every high Epic has a PI.

So, if she can´t see it comming a gun with a high enough fire rate could kill her? While we are on the topic, how about something that has new momentum pushed into it or her reaction speed in general?

But most are beneath your notice. You target High Epics, and there are only a few hundred of those in Newcago. Among them, only a couple dozen have a prime invincibility

It's specifically said to be two distinct groupings, though all Epics with a PI are High Epics so I can see how that can get confusing, :S

At the moment? Yeah that'd probably kill her, once she practices with her powers more and thinks some more about what she can do she could pull off a trick that would make even surprise firing non-lethal. Not sure what you mean about the new momentum thing.

My fault then, I was thinking of the passage, where David stated Fortuity was a high Epic because of his precognition (and I trusted the Coppermind, big mistake as it seems :P) Guess that means we´re back to no proper definition for a high Epic? Jolly. <_<

Even a sniper bullet she doesn´t see coming at all?

Lemme think of an example, she´s caught between a wall and a stone, then someone pushes against the stone, constantly adding new energy.

New questions just keep pouring into my head... What about an object with more than one vector affecting them?

Do people count, if yes is there a differens between their whole body and their arms?

And just to be on the safe side, what about explosions.

I dreamed about this RP last night. It was... odd.

My recollections are hazy, but I remember emphatically that Sightline went insane and murdered literally everyone in Oregon. When this was completed, all the players decided to launch "What Happened in Hawaii."

The most disturbing element of the dream is that all of this happened while I was offline, filling the dream with a sense of confusion as I tried to figure out what had just happened.

Clearly I am spending too much time thinking about this RP. :P

Yeah, trying to pin down definitions of a High Epic seems troublesome, I imagine it has something to do with the classing system Tia uses.

Yeah it would work with things she doesn't see coming, though it'd definitely be tricky and take her a while to master.

She can perform a constant shift of momentum between two things so additional energy would be shiftable like that, but normally it doesn't create a permanent connection like that, so for instance when they were falling out of the MoNA Backtrack still fell after she shifted his momentum.

If she focuses on an object then it would be the net force from all the vectors, if she's doing AoE bubbles the individual forces would be shifted. She can do either a whole person, or an AoE bubble around part of them.

The explosions thing is tricky, her power uses her own momentum as a reference frame (Otherwise she could steal the angular momentum of something imparted by the earths spin and have just insane amounts of energy to play with) so I think if it works at an atomic level the heat of the explosion would become her average body temperature and she could transfer the force to another area of equal size. (For AoE effects she has to move it to an equivalent sized and shaped area, otherwise the maths involved would make my head hurt :P)

Didn´t Tia say she prefers another sytem entierly, one that is based on tiers?

Into what would her auto deflect shift the momentum? I´ll just shut up about my whole, detailed refined power like that need some kind of concious control, stick, it´s not like I could prove that one.

I´ll also shut up about her profile giving a different impression with saying she can shift all of the momentum from one object to another, which doesn´t sound like AoE and the passage about conserved momentum going against the vector equalisation.

The problem I saw with it is that an explosion isn´t an object, similar to fire, but a process, so there is noting she could shift momentum from, also how has heat anything to do with momentum?

What do you mean with she takes her own momentum as a referecne frame?
