Point One: It has been confirmed that Hoid was present at the event. As far as we know, it's never been stated whether he has a hand in it or not. Point Two: We as readers have the most interaction with Hoid in the Way of Kings. And what is he doing every time we see him? Telling jokes, that's what. Assuming that Adonalsium is some sort of God/Creator entity; Hoid is directly responsible for breaking Adonalsium. He told It jokes until It laughed so hard It shattered.
