Aeternum Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 The Reckoners. Fish isn't very interested in them, since they don't dare cause too much trouble in his territory. Of course, a lowly Epic like this Ignis guy would be worried about them. This is just a waste of his time. Fish has better things he'd rather be doing. He figures he may as well see what information Ignis has. Information is always valuable, and Fish will never miss a chance to be informed on what's going on in his city. "What about them is bothering you." @RoyalBeeMage (sorry late reply!)

"they are getting smarter. faster. they know my weaknesses... and they know how strong i actually am..." ignis said looking down at the ground his head drooped. he was embarrised with his power level... he wasnt weak. he was quite strong! but most of his power was in his adaptability...
Aeternum Posted October 4, 2024 Author Posted October 4, 2024 (edited) Fish sighs. This Ignis guy, admitting to being weak? To the most powerful Epic around? Is he trying to get himself killed? Most Epics would end Ignis on the spot, but Fish has always known that keeping some of his enemies around is an effective shield against any new Epics trying to take over the city. Fish studies Ignis's body language. Is Ignis trying to trick Fish? He doubts it. Very few Epics have ever tried to cross him, and most of them didn't live to tell the tale. Except one, that sparking Sundew Epic. Always getting on Fish's nerves. This is still a good chance to learn about his opposition - both the Reckoners and Ignis - even if this Epic is clearly this weak and pathetic. "And? Tell me what they know." @RoyalBeeMage (@GoodGuy too, if you want) Edited October 4, 2024 by Aeternum
GoodGuy He/Him Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 "The Reckoners? I gotta get closer and hear this." Mimic thought to himself. He tries his best to silently creep closer and listen in. Unfortunately right when he was about to take his last step, he slips on a piece of the decimated door and ends up slipping, falling face first in front of Fish's office. @Aeternum @RoyalBeeMage 1
