Demigods are all somewhat damage resistant. She was thrown into it by the chimera.

“I think I saw a burger place a few minutes away, we could go there?”

“That sounds good. Hopefully there aren’t any gorgons there.”

Jenny was sitting up ramrod straight instead of leaning back against the wall. The bruises on her back from slamming into the window were already less-than-pleasant. She had her eyes closed again, both to avoid looking at the spot where she’d almost fallen to her death and the dizzying view of the city below.

Edgar, in contrast, was leaning heavily against her. His face was paler than normal, and his eyes were filled with a pain that he was obviously trying to hide.

”I hope so.”

Ah ok, sorry for missing the fight. I was on holidays

Aaron glances at the others, feeling sick to the pit of his stomach. Remember what you need to do he tries to remind himself. but the more he does. The more sick he feels. "Why do I do this" he mumbles to himself. Tears threatening to spill.

You’re all good. Can anyone hear this?

Jenny cocked her head slightly, curious. Why was Aaron talking to himself? Jenny talked to herself a fair bit. He was probably fine. She wasn’t exactly the best person for determining if someone was “fine”, though. She began to try to ask if he was alright, but stopped herself. He wasn’t crying or anything. He could ask for help if he needed it.

Edgar heard Jenny start to say something. But then she stopped. Was it something about him? Was she worried he wasn’t strong enough to hear it? He probably wasn’t. He was too weak for her. She deserved someone stronger, someone better.

Leave her now, before it breaks her.

Maybe if Aaron did happen to be upset, Jenny could try to distract him. It was normally best to assume that she had no idea what was going on in someone else’s head. Asking him a question couldn’t hurt, so she might as well do so just in case.

”What do you think about burgers, Aaron?”

Aaron looks up, a haunted look in his eyes. He shakes the fog away. Trying to at least pretend that he was normal again. "burgers would be great" he mutters trying to sound upbeat

Roy gives a side eye to Aaron and pulls him to the side. “ pull yourself together else master won’t be happy.” He wispers. Loudly he says “I need burger’s more than you do” while looking angry at Edgar

Edgar didn’t seem to notice, which was strange. He almost always glared back. In fact, Edgar didn’t seem to notice anything that was happening. Instead, he had moved his knees to his chest and wrapped his arms around them, his expression blank.

He didn’t even look up.

You’re going to  have to do it eventually.
