Jenny was still rather confused by Jace and Terrance’s interaction. Had Jace been threatening to kill Terrance if he didn’t eat? It was understandable that Terrance had reacted so aggressively. Even if you didn’t have severe trust issues like he did, you probably wouldn’t react positively, or even civilly, to someone who held a knife to your throat like that. She offered to hand to Ed to help him stand up.
