Oh whoops, my bad! I don’t have any ideas for the monsters, I don’t remember much from the books. We should probably avoid named/unique cool monsters so Harold and Rob don’t miss out on fighting it.

Hmm... I'm just trying to think of something to do, since Terrance is going to be mostly silent unless spoken to first.

Sorry, I'm not doing great at thinking up a monster either.

I mean, probably just a basic, generic one that isn't too dangerous if handled well? I'm not sure.

I  can.

A hissing noise came from behind Terrance. The grass wilted, dying, and a line of dead grass led to where the hissing was coming from. Something was moving very fast towards their group.

Oooo! I kinda wanna do a lord of the rings style shot- like- shooting the basilisk before it attacks- but- only after a sec- and if i'm allowed-

Jenny immediately grabbed Sword and jumped to her feet. This sent a stab of pain through her side severe enough to cause her eyes to sting with tears. There was probably a monster of some sort. She had to help, had to fight. But she couldn’t. Jenny tried to get some distance to perhaps attack from afar, but tripped and fell.

Oh and I’m assuming there’s multiple basilisks. If there’s just one that would probably be a no-go.

Finee Lol

Lucid quickly closes his book as he hears the rush of the creature, not knowing if there is more, he quickly tucks his book away before pulling his bow out and Launching an arrow past the little group, hopefully hitting his target.

The thing paused, then got hit by an arrow, dissolving. Three more lines appeared, moving quickly.

Edgar ran to Jenny, helping her up.

Jenny couldn’t get to the snakes hidden in the grass with just Sword. She’d either have to get dangerously low or blindly throw in the direction of one and hope it hit. She decided that there wouldn’t be much of a point to drinking the gorgon blood yet, since she wouldn’t be great with helping. But she didn’t want to just leave everyone. She stumbled over to the tree and crouched down with her back against it, holding her dagger in front of her over the grass. Maybe she could draw one her way. Her bandage was getting redder. Did they smell blood?

This likely wouldn't make them for, but it might make them hesitate or slow.

Lucid Bristles, feeling the wave wash over him as he moves closer to the group, wanting to try and help, and not seem like he usually did, sitting off to the sidelines, letting others do his work for him, like the thing that the others did today.

Aaron turns around at the hiss. Monster his instincts kick in and he sends plants towards the creature, in an attempt of it's path. He falters however as he finds that they go through the plants, like they were not there. Abominations.

He sees Jenny struggling, and sends plants after her instead. Lifting her off the ground, and stalking towards the creatures, his sword appearing in his hand.

Basilisks are afraid of weasels by the way. I know odd, but.... I think Harold could help, he is a son of pan right?

Rob’s the son of Pan, and unfortunately he’s off looking for a train right now.

Jenny greatly appreciated the help, although she felt bad that she couldn’t help the others too. She frantically scanned her eyes over the ground beneath her, looking for things to chuck Sword at. These monsters were probably the worst possible thing for her to try and fight. Daggers weren’t an effective weapon against these at all, thrown or not.

Snakes. Why’d it have to be snakes?

I couldn’t resist :P
