It was odd that Gift still stayed as sunglasses. Perhaps being electrocuted hadn’t been kind to Edgar’s eyes. Jenny squeezed Edgar’s hand back, shooting Roy a stink eye then trying to see if any figures were visible through the building’s windows.

She didn’t see any, but the smell of delicious food was strong. Strange that a gnome emporium would have food, but not much stranger than it being built on a graveyard.

Jenny’s stomach growled, almost sounding like it was complaining.

“Do you guys think we should see if any of it’s for sale?”

Her stomach growled even louder.

As she walked, Jenny wondered how long it had taken to create all of the statues. There were so many of them and they were all incredibly realistic. Perhaps a team of people had worked on them.

Jenny squinted at one for a bit. It wasn’t smiling and the mouth was frowning. It was probably upset in some way. Angry would make the most sense.

”They probably have angry expressions to help scare off any pests. If I was a rat, I wouldn’t be very afraid of a friendly-looking person.”

She dusted off its head.

”This is why they need hats. I’m going to suggest that to the emporium’s owner.”

walking over from the back of the room was a short woman dressed all in black. you could not see a single piece of her skin or hair. she wore leather gloves and a vail over her eyes that also hid her hair.
"children! welcome. do you want some food?" she half hissed half asked.

Aaron glances at the lady, Why is she covered in black and was that hissing I heard, he grabs a blade of grass, and forms a sunglasses look with them. With extremely small criss crossed leaves that cover most of his sight partially. Copying Edgars look somewhat. 

He glances behind the lady, and notices the amazing amount of food. His mouth salivates.
