My inner self, Desolation, destroyed Thaid last I checked.

Thaidakar is dead. TLT one is, at least.

Um... sorry to burst your bubble there, but I'm pretty sure Darkness killed Thaidakar with the assistance of Desolation. If I pull up the scene, I can give a more accurate explanation, but idk if I wanna do that rn.

Thaidakar from TLT is, indeed, dead, but when has death in TLT ever been inflexible? Nameless, for example. Thaidakar himself for another example.

Of course, bringing him back would undermine Spook's arc (WHICH I STILL PLAN ON DOING, don't worry). I really really want Spook and Mythos to bring in the thunder as the main guys. Especially Spook. I hope it goes well lol. Once more plot cools down, it'll be easier.

Desolation was a major player in the event, because most of the fighting was between him and Thaidakar, but Platypus ultimately took his life.

That's right... Idk how I forgot that part lol.

Yes, but Desolation did not kill Thaidakar. Platypus took his life, but Darkness did also, in a way. It's a long winded explanation, but for all intents and purposes, Platypus did kill Thaidakar and no-one else. All I'll say rn because I don't want to take over the Hunger Games thread here with TLT is that Darkness made it in the barest nick of time.

Desolation did not make the killing blow, but he is definitely a major contributor.

My memory on a lot of the stuff that was happening is focused on the effects it has later on the plot, so the details are all kinda scrambled, so I'd rather not argue about this.

Thaid…where do you get all these photos and memes. Like o swear you have one for…everything. I imagine a Beaty and the beast library with ladders, and the shelves full of memes.

Google is the path to many memes some consider to be... hilarious.

The third one isn't. I know the fifth is. The fourth...

Well, the fourth is kinda like the crossing over. God Emperor is a weird book. I have no idea if I'm going to read it again or not, mostly because of... well...

(spoilers)

Spoiler

THE FACT THAT THEY RUINED DUNCAN IDAHO. LIKE AHHHH. It got so weird after three quarters of awesomeness. The gay stuff was weird in how that was handled. Apparently guys can't be gay, only women, according to Frank Herbert. I find that extremely odd, even with the way I think about it.

Siona needed more work on her arc. Leto is my fave. That weird ghola girl is so- well, weird.

God Emperor is worth at least reading once, but I don't think... I don't think it matches the other books. I can see Frank Herbert's plan and what he is trying to do, but like- Ahhhhhhhhh. God Emperor was so awesome until it wasn't...

I'm curious about dune but will probably never read it because it sounds like a commitment to get into.

Yeah, I've heard it gets explicit in book five. Like very explicit.

Book four was on the edge, and I was feeling uneasy by the end. OH MY GOSH I JUST REMEMBERED THAT ONE SCENE. *pukes* The one with the cliff and the servant- That scene...........

I don't know what Frank Herbert was on when he wrote that last quarter of the book, but I don't want to know.

I do recommend at least the first two books. They work well together as a duology.
