She leaned against the wall. “What are they talking about in there?”

"I don't know. But whatever's going on, it probably has to do with Death."

“Really.”

She looked at him calmly.

“Then why did you take the redlow ones?”

How much is this going to end up adding to her emotional load?

Nettle shrugged. "They seemed a tad bit more interesting than climbing a flight of green purple stairs up eleventy eight levels or whatever."

Nettle opened her mouth to object, but then thought twice and stopped.

Trevor led the way down the stairwell.

Nettle followed. "So, what kind of people need to be locked up in a clinic?"

1 minute ago, Spark of Hope said:

“Well, for one example, people with evil entities they can’t get out of their head.”

"Oh, okay. Why keep them in the clinic?" Nettle asked, trying not to wince in pain as Trevor said "Evil entities they can't get out of their head"

"Nice. I have neither of those." Nettle sighed. "So, what are these people like?"

A few points of light blinked into existence in the air nearby, hovering there.

They did not seem to have any substance. More appeared, until there were a few hundred hovering points like stars hanging the air. They formed the vague shape of a person. "Hello."

"Hey Turing. How's... it going?" Nettle still was staring, fascinated.

"...Fine, I suppose. I'm just going around the Clinic. I'm new here and I've spent most of my time in the library so far."

Just now, Spark of Hope said:

“No.”

Turing went quiet, not wanting to get in the way of the ongoing conversation.
