The angst will continue once someone gets to her…

I can do it I guess.

@Ancient Elantrian Veer gets up from the floor and leaves, waving in the general direction of Gemini. “I’m going to go tell management about the broken floor, then find one of these magic councilors. You can stay here if you want.” If Gemini doesn’t follow, the items in the hole in the ceiling stop levitating and fall after around five minutes.

Do you know if anyone plays a magic councilor, or could create one?
Unrelatedly, if you give me the list of other GMs, I could start that PM. Or you could do it. (I recommend sitting down to do an important task, then procrastinating on it by doing other things you kinda need to do.)

@Spark of Hope
Veer wanders around, looking for management, and finds sand on the floor. Intrigued, he follows the trail, incidentally hovering it into the air he walks. Around the time it takes to stall for Elan later, plus a flight of stairs, Veer comes upon Aventine. He’s surrounded by a cloud of floating sand, and looking at the ground. “What happened here?” he asks, his vision of the scene obscured by the fact that a portion of the sand cloud follows his gaze.

Uh… she’s back in her room now…

Also, there’s not really GMs in that sense. Just active people

Oh. Why not, I’ll have Veer come there anyway. Someone moved Lukas’s body, right? Is Jar Man still there?
The GM thing is for the next HG, but I was already talking to Elan so I thought I could mention it. And shh: I’m one of the GMs.

Veer doesn’t see Aventine. Veer sees more sand, some scorches, and a pool of golden liquid. Then, he continues on his way to go find management, with one more thing to tell them.

I had him and Lukas both moved. There’s no sand left either, just lots of dead bodies

Oh, the sand is gone? Oops, apparently I wasn’t reading clearly.
Re-retconning: Veer is still looking for management. Do you know anyone who plays management? Is there a list somewhere?

Gemini follows. Because he doesn't wanna be alone in the weird guy's room.

Aventine couldn’t move. She was in too much pain to do so, both physically and emotionally. Not only had she lost her son (and an argument could be made for twice), she’d lost Elan again.

She focused on keeping her breathing steady. A girl she didn’t know came down the hallway.

“What happened here?” she asked.

Ave shook her head. “It- it hurts too much to say.”

”Well… can I do anything to help?”

She sighed, now seeing Jar Man. “If you could take him to his room, help me get to mine, and…”

She looked at Lukas’ body. She couldn’t just leave him there.

“… and cremate him, and bring me the urn.”

The woman did as Ave had asked, splitting into clones to get it all done. She helped Ave to her room and laid her on the floor at her request.

And the tears began to flow again.

@Ancient Elantrian @TheRavenHasLanded

Jar Man, now less high and drunk... hugs ave. because he doesnt know what else to do.

She was lying sprawled out on her floor covered in dry blood and sand. Two tear trails made clear lines down her face. Only pain and despair showed in her eyes.

he just picks her up like a father would a child and just stares at her.

She yiped. Her skin was scarring from the burns, and her torso had been stabbed five times.

He sets her down gently and instead just stares, unblinking at her, hoping his absurd behavior would snap her out of it.

She clung to him. She tried to calm down, but every time she got close, a new memory she had spent with Lukas resurfaced, and the tears continued with new motivation.

he tries to say something, anything, but his words catch in his throat. "i-"

She took a deep breath. “The alters believe in one. They want to convince me, I know. But they’re not forcing it.”

No one really does… maybe The Wandering Wizard or Medium but both their characters are not in the Clinic

Hmm. Maybe I should come up with a management character, then.

Veer goes and tells management there’s a hole in his ceiling. “Is there anything interesting to do around here?”
